Ep 40 - a lacklustre reunion ...

I saw an article about this show potentially having a season 2…I highly doubt the article is true but in 50 episodes, the fl has had only 1 win, an insignificant one on top of that. And now Ser Evil and Da Dumb are competing to come up with a new menu? Who cares!

This was suppose to be a revenge story and I feel like we are getting further and further away from it.

I can’t focus on the story because of the makeup. The fl’s makeup is literally coffin-ready makeup.

I dropped «  the reincarnated lovers » because of the fl’s makeup. She looked so unaturel.

I skipped so much that I confused about the story of twins - Ae go and Xiu Yan? How come they are both alive? I’m at ep 40

unless she comes back at ep 40?!

What do you mean she’s fine? she’s dead!

Part 2 is out??!!!!!

Ok I’m finally at ep 40 (last episode) - so far the biggest flaw of this drama for me was the CGI and fighting scenes which were almost all forgettable and lacklustre

To me the saddest character was Hong Yi’s aunt. They all did her dirty!

I watched it a long time ago and I remember giving it a good score. The ml suffered a lot. I will always remember the ml’s name because the fl kept saying his name constantly « Sifeng, Sifeng, Sifeng ».

Right! The exact part was in ep 20 at 4:36…I was like really? orange lipstick? she’s wearing a pink jacket!! The eyeshadow was also orange smh! lol

Becsuse the plot demands it! Even a blind person could see the aunt wasn’t the aunt. I left a lot of comments about this a few weeks/days ago. I was so annoyed with this plotline

I think things got worst in the last 3-5 years.

Ep 26 I think. They really all did the aunt dirty.

I had dropped this drama at ep 1, but decided to give it another chance …is it any good? HE? are the leads TSTL?

They do it also in modern shows. I was so annoyed to see the coffin-ready makeup on the fl’s face in You are my Glory and on top of that they made her wear an orange lipstick- ORANGE ladies and gents - smh

I also wanted to know lol, but at the end, I didn’t care so long they get to live their HEA.
