My girl has grown up. Her arc is so beautiful, powerful and inspiring. Not long ago I read a child answer to a school test "What is the most powerful element on earth ? " "LOVE" he answered.
Remind me of Joy of Life. No battlefield though, but lots of battle wits, many but no conflicted women aroung ML, strong-intelligent-hard working-down to earth women, discreet and concerned fatherdom, ML with his feelings undercontrol, devoted buddies around him, not extravagant but very classy gentlemen wardrobe.
ep 10 : ML carrying FL on his back, FL’s brother look and later on too😂😂 This drama has many interesting…
It's safer if the children stay behind. They at least won't be mistreated as it happens too often in broken families. They are loved at their late father's home. Women with no power and freedom during that era had no say in their upbringing.
When she has discussions with TLC, it seems to be a way to let us know what he is thinking. Some have also speculated…
So kind of you to comment. Yes, I noticed all her interventions nonetheless I found her character too monotonous unless it is her acting. Episodes back when Tang Li Ci took her by the throat, she had no reaction (face and body) apart from a slight caugh as soon as he let her go. She is the only weakness in the cast as for now to my POV so I skip her parts. The other characters are doing an amazing job. Pleasant to read you. Thks once more.
Can someone explain to me what is Jelly Lin (A Shui) doing in this story? Does her name A Shui have a meaning to support the story? What is her purpose in this story a part from standing there like an unnecessary prop ornament? I sound mean but as I skip all her parts. Please please enlighten me.
It's striking how much Alen Fang (Liu Yan) and Gong Jun (Su Mu Yu/Kui in Blood River) look alike. It is quite distracting and disturbing...to me. My brain has to switch from one to the other.
I dare say, quite an opening that 1st episode. The visual, martial arts, wardrobe...smell of $$$$$. I am not into the story yet. Hope it develops without too many fillers.
Pleasant to read positive comments on this thread. They motivate me as 40 episodes are a long way to go.
I really appreciate your list. Many that are not on your list I've watched over the years although little time to watch all of them though. Some can be too suspensful for my heart so I watch one episode every two or three days otherwise...nightmares and insomnia get to me...no joke.
I keep in mind that it is'nt everyone's cup of tea. Some people have difficult life so lighter series help them go through their days more smoothly. Other people don't have the interest or intellectual energy to think outside the box.
Over the decades I've dropped too many series and wonder where lies my problem. This is the reason why I stopped commenting as too many stones were thrown at me. I reopened my MDL account and will follow yours sparingly.
You do well and your comments add a depth that make it interesting to read. Hoping also to attract more viewers.
yall get ready to hate situ ling even more tomorrow
In the start, I don't like "obssessed" characters with a deep jealousy feeling that turns out to be a demonic killer - some episodes back, when killing his brother was so orgasmic to him. For now, he is an importaant character as he does protect MY. Reversely, he his a threat as he will put her in critical situations. I bet that Situ will last to end of the story. Cross fingers I am wrong.
At episode 23 I cuddled my cat to tightly...she didn't like it. Situ was just on time to save some of 27's spirit. Lu Yu Xiao (Ming Y) acting doesn't disappoint.
