I haven't finished the novel yet but so far it's not clear if she knew (Jom went to the airport to pick up Ohm and Ohm was not expecting him there - he was panicking and telling him that they were supposed to meet next day at the hotel, so it's possible that he was hiding Jom's existence from her). They met about 6months before start of the novel (and Ohm was 4 years abroad - not 2 like in the TV show) and she was already pregnant (not visibly pregnant because they had to state it), so their affair went quite fast. In my opinion the person who is cheating on their partner is more responsible than the affair partner and what happened to her was r*pe - how is that just punishment?
I sincerely hope all the haters who claim they are dropping the show will do so and stop commenting here. 90%…
Considering how close butler Sorn was with eldest bro - perhaps they are already couple? And butler Sin (not Luv but the oryginal) is "destined" for the youngest bro? This might be one of rules of the house: from butler to lover π I am enjoying it most of the time (the worst for me is when they do the inner monologue and do it for more than 1 person, so it's hard to tell who is thinking what).
I think it's an overlap of internal dialogue and external speaking, but they don't distinguish between the two…
In my country we have not only subtitles or dubbing but a lector as an option of translation (quite popular, actually). When it's lector you get the oryginaΕ voices (and language ) in the background and lector is reading dialogue more or less in the same way as it's dubbed here. Still it's Hella confusing when several of them "thinks" and now you should gues who is thinking what...
I'm mostly fine with the dubbing, but it's the constant overlap of internal and external dialogue from every character…
For me the worst is that it's the same voice, so when they "show" thoughts of several people it's sometimes hard to gues who was thinking what. Sometimes the "dubber" doesn't have enoght time to fit thoughs and dialogue π€¦ββοΈ
I love Lee and Frank but why they always end up with bad BL series???? I don't understand why!!!! Their previous…
To your point about "Love Syndrome" - it's based on the novel and quite "faithful" to it so we can put the blame in the author. I liked that series (they could have removed big portions of whining Itt and it would have made it better but then again - he is the same in the novel...). When it comes to this series - it might be just it being more directed to Thai watchers as it's apparently made in some kind of comedic style that is common (?) there π€·ββοΈ
Ok, once you get past the dubbing, the series is good. I`m enjoying their rom-com a lot. Frank&Lee are freaking…
Yes and no to the rom-com. I get the feeling that Frank is not interested in anybody (I think that his cousin was hitting on him in ep1, in ep2 youngest bro was way to friendly and Lee was coming on to hard on him - Frank reaction was more or less clueless/oblivious to all of that).
This is not the voice of Lee Long Shi that I know from others dramas. I think the voice is done by someone else.…
As far as I know the same voice actor is dubbing all of them (apparently it's due to this style of comedy, so do not ask my why because I do not know - it's just their way).
Well, It's a grey area I think. Technically what he did is not wrong. He just told the truth. If he lied, the…
I think what is questionable here is his reasoning - he didn't do it just because he wanted to tell the truth. He wanted revenge on her for taking his man in another lifetime (flashbacks in EP and in novel he thinks so). He also did not consider the consequences for anybody involved here but once he understood what happened to her he was feeling quite guilty.
I seriously love this drama.I just don't like how jom told on kaew because of his hurt in the future with ohm.It…
That's actually exactly what he thought in novel. In the novel Kaew also did not blame him but he felt so guilty that he offered to help her if she ever needed anything and when she came to "cash in" (wanted him to help her break up with her lover) he gets in hot water (he is accused of being their lookout while they were planing to escape... which was not true but all due to stupid Kaew not just letting Jom do the breaking up but just had to go there and observe π€¦ββοΈ).
I get the dubbing now, its the narrator telling this story in a play by play
But they show thoughts of other people as well... And I must say I sometimes was not sure whose they were (like in the scene where he was boxing next to the pool - both ML and MC were "thinking" so I am not sure who was "thinking" when MC was turning his back). I will add that to my complaints that ML's "hitting on" MC is weirder when MC is clearly not interested... in anybody (be it ML, cousin or ML's brother). Is the butter sabotaging MC (eldest bro is sus after this ep)? It seems like he knows almost no rules of the house and the butler was teaching him for like only 2 days π€ (since the day MC came to the mansion till butler's planed departure). All in all I am not giving up on this series π
Spoiler from the novel: Diao was 7 and he was in Yi's (14 years old) house. They had pumas (or were those panther?)…
Well most of what I wrote we learn in them reminiscing about the past trough out the novel. I haven't watched 1st EP yet as I want to have more or simply binge but it should still be ok with timeline since the novel starts years after Nuea and Liam's wedding. In Cutie Pie they were still in uni but in this one it's mentioned how Diao finished uni with honours (in contrast to his step-sibling who were basically a waste). The one series that I worried about timeline is Middleman's Love, as chronologically novel is before Bed Friends. Our MC (Jed) is convinced that ML (Mai) is hitting on his single friend (Uea) and hence tries to help them get together (in his mind only), so I am wondering how they are going to proceed here since most of the novel is Jed being clueless/oblivious.
idk why i thought this series would tell me the backstory of diao and the accident that was apparently yi's fault…
Spoiler from the novel: Diao was 7 and he was in Yi's (14 years old) house. They had pumas (or were those panther?) there and while Yi was preparing snacks for Diao, Yi's panther was able to escape. Diao was supposed to sit in the room next to the Yi's father's office (there Yi's and Dao's dads were talking) like he did every time. He got bored and wanted to see outside. He heard chain and rememberd that there was "big kitty" he saw glimpses of sometimes with chain, so he turned around and saw "kitty". He decided to scratch "kitty's" chin, as his teacher said that is what cats like. He extended his arm but at that time his father left the office and saw panther/puma an started yelling which scared the animal and it pounced on Diao. According to Yi it had no malicious intent (in Diao's dreams/nightmares he also does not feel danger from it) but to make sure nothing happens to Diao, Yi (14 years old!) shot his pet. The whole splashing of the head/brain is what traumatized Diao so much that he forgot Yi. Diao's dad demanded money and since Yi's dad thought of him as bad influence he offered to pay for Diao's school abroad as well. Yi actually always loved Diao but was cold to him due to constant misunderstandings. They met again when Diao came back from abroad on their engagement party and Diao was shy (he thought he was meeting him for the 1st time) and thuse was stiff when they interacted, so Yi thought he needed to keep distance to make them comfortable with eachother. Yi was leaving the apartment because he had insomnia (due to guilt of the trauma tha he inflicted on 7 year old Diao) and didn't want to wake him up. Diao's family always wanted money from him and he knew that hif he did not give in, they would pester Diao. To have enough money Yi was working like crazy and had hardly time for anything. On the other hand Diao felt guilty that his family was leaching and thought that he has no right to ask for anything from Yi, so this led to Yi thinking Diso was happy and needed for nothing. Additionally Yi's family had rule of having only 1 child per family to not have infighting but due to Yi's father workaholism his wife left him and started new family, then birthed 2 daughters. Yi's dad was afraid that Yi might want to live with his mom, so he started to limit the time they were spending to few times a year, so Yi would meet his sister's sneakily (and told nobody about them; he met Lian after his parents divorce, so he did not know as well). One of the ways he was doing it was going with his guy friends to the same parties that one of his sister's was going and they started to misunderstood that she was his mistress - he did not correct them because he thought that this way none of them would try to "get her". He did not count on drunk Lian to tell about it Kuea and he would tell Diao. This led Kuea and Diao to investigate him and they found about the other girl he "was having on the side" as well - his other sister. And there was the whole thing with Diao basically s*xualy assaulting Yi when he was drunk like 2 years to their engagement (at the start of the novel they have need engaged for 7 years and Diao is 25 - the novel states that Kuea and Lian have been already married for years as well).
If you want recommendation of Chinese BLs: "Killer and Healer" (be aware that it has 2nd version of ending that…
You're welcome. Yes, they are different in so many ways. If you liked family dynamic in "Stay with me" then "Killer and Healer" has a bit of it as well (MC1 is a doctor and has much younger sister). I know I am hyping it but I really like it and the music was really nice (I especially loved song that was played while FL1 was preparing for the wedding with ML2... I can tell you that there was no love there - ML2 was clearly smitten with MC2 and FL1 with MC1... who of course treated her as a friend; there is also FL2 who was in love in ML1 but he just "flirted" with MC1 in front of her and you know the saying about woman scorned πΏ). There are great BLs from Korea that are more about portrayal of feelings like Blueming, Eighth Sense, To My Star, Where your eyes linger. From Japanes I would strongly suggest "Man who defies world of BL" if you like comedies and making fun of BL thorpe but if not then "He, who is beautiful" (in 2nd half of 1st season you get "summary" of the same story but from other perspective and it makes one rethink their assumptions), "Life - love in the line" (at the end of last ep there is great song "Last Ambient" π).
OMG Wieje redeemed himself just when it mattered! The gun battle in the church was just another reason why this…

I wish they would extend Sun/Ryu Tory line. Sun is so hilarious π€£ I am not usually to notice such things but for some reason Nuea's uneven fingernails bothered me.
Down in the comments they explain that it's done on purpose (one person doing dubbing for all) - including the…
It's that kind of style of comedy (I don't get it either but it's part of their comedy culture). I don't get Charlie Chaplin's comedy either π€·ββοΈ
