that is one of the many things that bug the sh*t outta me about real life and TV showshow these replacement people…
I think that it might be a bit different in Chinese culture - I remember reading novels (theoretically set in the past), where 1st wife was called mother by all of her husband's children (one was like the empress and the other was just married as the 2nd wife but since 1st was dead they all were supposed to call her that - even children from 1st wife) 🤷♀️ In some Asian cultures they call their friends mother "mother", so it might be viewed differently. As for substituting: sometimes the "new" parent is demanding things they have no right to but there are families where they are considered to be more of a "mother"/"father" than the bio one, so I would not generalized. In this series SY's mom vs. Duo's mom - who is actually more of a mother figure to SY is clear (to WB as well). This show is epitome of: "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb".
What was the kiss scene in episode 14 ? If you are never going to address it again ... Then why include it ...…
Thanks for confirming my suspicions: I am on EP 9 and I thought that Jay is most likely the illustrious president (especially since the case files of the prodigies did not mention him or some skills that weren't previously mentioned and his behaviour towards "mechanic" when he almost slipped and told him Ro Um's target in the vault). Why spoil the series with romance 😒? I really doesn't need it.
How to get everyone grinning from ear to ear: By Su YuTo mom: I don't like sweetsTo wicked one: Punch wasn't for…
With the sweet dumplings, yes he made a mess but I think that he burned the pancakes on purpose (he eat one and it was ok), so there might be some hope for him.
I agree. WuBi and SuYu are NOT blood related, so anyone who thinks it's incest is way of the mark.
Yes, you are right legally. I meant that if children are raised together as siblings from early age then they form bonds like blood related siblings do and then it gets into incest-like territory IMO. I find it curious that adoption of the child would make it incest but without it - all other circumstances being the same - it would not 🤔 Would that also be so if the child is basically an adult when being adopted (or an adult - I think that in Japan you can adopt regardless of "child's" age)?
this guy again haha no man but hong sae cares about san young and there are moments of amazing chemistry b/w them…
I for one hope it does not happen (like in "The Guest") - the story really doesn't need it IMO but for me it looks a bit like she and the policeman might be the end goal... Side note: when I was checking cast, it was stated next to Ujin that he is prof's partner, so my fujoshi brain went to the gutter 🤭 The story however never depicted their relationship before Ujin's passing as more than acquaintances (after it was like friends with prof mentioning - if I remember correctly - that his "gift" makes it possible to see the one he misses).

And they did not grew up together (if they were raised since childhood as bros then we might have some grounds for incest label but they met as young adults, 16 years olds)!
Sadly that seems to be the only type of girłs inmost of BLs 🙄In this one we even have 2 like that ("Taiwanese…
Does she thou? He doesn't seem interested (at most like his possession/accessory). Remember how she mentioned that what pushed her to come back was the phone call? The one where WB told her that SY likes somebody else. IMO she also sees him a bit like her possession - he was never interested in another girl, so she felt special, I guess
Totally enjoying the slow unravelling of this mystery with the long haired ghost. Just when I couldn't be more…
The ghost requires one to sacrifice what they love the most, so perhaps she loved her younger sister the most and hence Lee Mokdan. Grandmother seems to crave money, power and immortality - nothing else matters. I think that killing Ujin was one of the cruelest and heartless think she did (she most likely did not know the girl - girl must have been still teen when she died and grandmother was adult at the time). And after that she kept his father like nothing has happened. The only silver lining is Ujin's constant presence in Haesang's life - without him he would have been totally alone/alienated.
I would say when the girl's shadow shows, the scenes are partially scary and creepy (see opening to get what I mean) but other than that it's mostly like other commenters here said.
You saw how he looked at Wu Bi before he said that his cousin is most handsome? Why even say it? To gauge Wu Bi's…
Yes! The poor grapes... SY was so teasing him then and you could just feel that he knows/suspects WB feelings towards him. At least WB admitted out loud his feelings ("He is mine" + his talk about international turmoil with Duo, which I think SY might have misunderstood a bit as being about YW), something I think is going to take some time for SY 😞
WAIT THIS WAS TAGGED AS BROMANCE??? LIKE SURE HUN JUST TWO BROTHERS BEING SWEET TOGETHER WITH ONE SCREAMING "HE…
And constantly sleeping in the same bed. And napping on his bros but. And wearing matching pajamas. And giving food to their bowls. And making grand gestures to get the other back. And constantly asking if the other one "likes the girl" and being angry thinking that he might and denying vehemently that he is. All normal siblings (or "just friends"*) behaviour. *my mind went to "Just being friendly" by Tillie Birds 🤭
I haven't read this novel but I did her others and sadly I know how it goes 🤮At least no snake checking girls…
You mean the novel with the snake ("Counterattack")? MC1 is poor and dummy (and I think he starts a bit overweight but looses some of that), his GF wants to break up with him mainly due to the poor/shabby looking part, so he uses his dummy skill and starts smacking his head with brick (on multiple occasions - apparently this scull is connected with his heart because after each time he cares for her less). She starts to see his actions as amusing but her end goal is ML1. Why? Money! MC1 finally decides that he needs to take revenge and decides that the best course of action is to seduce ML1 (logic 💯). ML1 likes big buts (of which MC1 is owner of) so you know how it goes (I think there was non-con s*x at the beginning of their relationship as well). After each "bricking" MC1 lands in local clinic owned and operated by MC2 (doctor). They become friends. MC2 is being harassed/stalked by ML2 who is kind of friends with ML1 as well. Both MLs have snakes and they were like "snakes before hoes"... ML1 snake is jealous but accepted MC1 (sometimes it seems like snake has higher IQ than MC1). ML2 has a snake that he uses to check girls virginity 🤯. What is Chai Jidan story without r*pe, thou? Non existing, that is... (just in general her descriptions of even consensual s*x is questionable) In this one we have like the weirdest version, so brace for it. MC2 had BF. BF got tired of him (or was it family pressure to marry or something), so he arranged bunch of guys to assault MC2. MC2 was convinced he got r*ped by them (I remind you that he is doctor, so he should know...) - which was BFs plan. BF then told him that he cannot be with somebody dirty like him (yeah, because victim = dirty 🙄) and broke up with him right after the assault (MC2 wasn't actually r*ped, so at least there is this)! This made MC2 obviously quite traumatized and he was resisting ML2 for a long time (think 100+ or 200+ chapters), but (surprisingly for Chai Jidan) when MC2 and ML2 finally did it it was consensual and MC2 was enjoying it. If you are interested - there is like a movie (or was it 2 part series?) made with low budget. Title: Falling in Love with a Rival.
If you seen "Revenant" then she should close the door, so that "somebody" knocks on it and she opens them 😈
I get a feeling that in this series she would have doubled her body count 😋 (some of them are maybe: WB dad, SY mom, WB cousin, SY "ex", gossipers close to SY house, thugs that attacked WB and SY, guys who beat SY, WB friends from previous school, that "Taiwanese girl"...)
