You can watch from the second couple which starts from ep 9. The second couple is quite good and I love the third…
Also there are important (trauma related) aspects in EP16. Since Faifa and Yotha are brothers one should at least check the EP16 before processing to Fai's story (the best IMO).
It was loud, as there was music and they had some distance to next tent, so nobody definitely noticed (that was…
Have you seen Man who defies the world of BL (Zettai BL...)? I love how all the tropes are being shown there - one of them is after some house party they all (5) stay to sleep and there are 2 couples there (who our 5th wheel and narrator clocks in like 2 seconds) that decide to get frisky because "others are asleep". Great comedy (manga is hilarious but series is not bad as well). I read novel that Not Me was based on (don't do it - your brain doesn't deserve this torture) and it being nothing like the series is just the tip of the ice berg but let's go back to the main subject: Sean basically SA White in the bathroom of his apartment while his friends are in the bedroom, then comes Black and he has (kind of out of the blue) sex with Gram on the bed while stuff are happening in the bathroom and last of their friends sleeps on the floor next to the bed! Nobody noticed others activities! ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
The Faifa and Wine part is a disappointment for me. This series is definitely too long. And like most if these…
Then I would say like >90% of BLs should be disappointment to you. Do you know orgin of BL? It was yaoi. Do you know how yaoi came to be? In short: women in manga were treated like subhuman (authors and characters), so women started to create stories where there were 2 guys in a relationship, to have more or less equals in a relationship. In other words it all started with basically women wanting equality, so they substituted women with men in the stories. This means that BL is actually doing what it was supposed to do ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I actually enjoyed ArcArm because I felt like ForceBook played it out well or I might be just a fan of them. Idk…
I think I liked their characters more in A Boss and a Babe and disliked in Only Friends (Enchante will forever be black stain in their career for me - I dropped it and only restarted because Jimmy was having a cameo there). Yes, FaifaWine are simply the one of the best: no silly misunderstandings, being mostly straightforward with each other, not playing stupid games, not using their trauma to justify hurting others, Wine being quite assertive (when needed) and Fai just the sweetest... (I already watched last EP at least 3 times and EP17-22 last week I think 5 times in total, so I have it bad ๐ )
i'm on d 2nd ep and i seriously don't understand d ratings...everything is so extra and not in a fun way..there…
I think ArcArm arc is the weakest. A lot of peope loves YothaGun (especially their chemistry but I would say that Yotha was a jerk to Gun as well, so...) but for me (and many more) the last storyline (FaifaWine) is the best (Fai being just the greenest forest ever and FaifaWine being generally great communicators). Theoretically you could skip ArcArm (EP01-08) and wouldn't miss much, I think but since Yotha and Faifa are brothers and they share a monster... I mean they share a mother and she is part of their storylines, so it's best to watch either the whole Yotha thing (EP09-16) or at least EP16 to have idea about the trauma (flashbacks are IMO not enough to get the cruelty of the whole situation for Faifa, whose story is in EP17-24). Slight note that the main and side couples basically show up in every storyline (except KlaoWa - who were considered by many as scene stealers - only appear starting YothaGun arc), so you might miss some details if you skipp but it should not make it incomprehensible.
I think it's part of the culture - like you have to honor/respect your elders/parents, so it basically doesn't matter what they do you have to forgive them. Sill I think there is a slight progress here, as shows start to at least allow for some resistance to this kind of behaviour (if I remember correctly in Bed Frinds it ended with no contact with Uea's mother, which is actually a big deviation from "normal" resolution).
I guess I will console myself by reading the novels๐๐ค๐
I read part of the the FaifaWine and it was fine (there was more of Fai making Wine kind of think he was hitting on him, just to get disappointed the next second ๐คญ) but once we got to Fai's enlightenment that he is in love I couldn't with the 2nd hand embarrassment (we got his PoV and he is just to hyper), so good luck to you. Honestly I think that I like series Faifa more but they could have kept not only the scene with the car=bus but also the one where Fai invites Wine for a run and it turns to Faifa running with [it seemed] like half of the school ๐.
The way the mom is still treated as if she did anything to earn any kind of forgiveness? Makes me so irrationally…
Oh she did something about it - made it worse! She basically torned him from his family, then dropped like hot potato when she got new family and did not care how he was treated in said family (I get that Yotha and Newton were kids and felt resentment towards Faifa instead of the monster that gave birth to them), used and abused him (telling your kid that he was chosen because with Yotha she wouldn't have any reason to return was just ๐ฟ and she still expected him to chauffeur her to and from airport without even carting to let him know about the plan change). You know when she actually seemed to take notice of him? When he decided to stop this. He wasn't going to pick her up, get meal together etc. On other worlds he was no longer under her thumb, so she kind of love bombed him to get him back in to the fold. I do not believe for a second that she was truly remorseful and not just manipulating Faifa.
You know what ... Faifa is the most brave one about love and nobody knows this... this is so sad, nobody knows…
Every time somebody says something to the point that "Faifa doesn't know how to love" I would like to smack them. Fai is somebody who loves people a lot - he was just being surrounded by people who cannot see it nor appreciate it (his monster... I mean: his mother even said multiple times that he loved his siblings and father and missed them a lot) but since meeting Wine he finally got somebody who sees the true him and appreciates him.
I thought i was the only one who wanted to suckerpunch the mom guess i was wrong
You are not the only one. I have been calling her a monster at least since EP16 but I thought badly of her since the whole "I forgot my son is severely allergic to milk". When I think she reached the bottom, she finds ways to sink deeper ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
