I don’t think that’s true, this is an overall rating not per episode.

Someone coming to watch this show two months later will not be thinking this rating of 9.0 or otherwise is per episode.

They will make a decision based on the rating and comments about the whole show on whether to watch or not.

To be honest, I also hate this fake marriage trope too. It’s always been used. And I get why it’s criticised because we had two “fake” marriages in one drama.

They got married first. It was a fake marriage for the FL to get a house, but the ML was already in love with her but didn’t want to impose his feelings.
