This has become quite messy now, which can even be felt in the scripting and editing, but especially in the actions taken by the characters. First, are you writer people really going to give us that messy "almost kiss"? And then Chesca - why the hell are you stringing Cass along for? You said "you felt it" so if you were not interested at all, why give her hopes? That's really messed up, especially as you know this is the first time Cass in exploring that newly found side of her. Moving on to Chollo - Migo is your CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND who else can know him, or can get to know him more better than YOU? That whole plan was the worst possible plan and I'm sorry to say I'm not sorry for how it ended up for you. You should have handled this much better, even though I know it's not easy to confess to your best friend. And finally Andrei and Josh - talk to each other! Josh, tell Andrei you're into this new guy. He's your friend, he knows you're gay, why are you hiding it? Andrei, yes you have kind of confronted Josh (who have you been talking to since this afternoon?) but maybe be more opened to him re. your feelings. Sure, it might be way too early to confess and all, but if there is something you're not happy with with (we all see the jealousy) then SAY IT and then have the conversation and see where it goes.
I really hope it gets better next episode (and last episode) because I only see angst and I want a happy ending for my handsome Ram (even though they tried to picture him as an a-hole, how dare they!)
PS: I really don't see what's so special about Migo that my handsome Ram and Chollo are fighting over him for, but I guess people have different taste ^^'
Oh dear oh dear... Win staring, teasing, flirting and Tops sweet, caring and shy... so many butterflies! It was a very slow burn, but it was worth it - Absolutely loved it! ( ꈍᴗꈍ) ❤
This is honestly a guilty pleasure for me because there were clearly a number of things that were not on point with this series (other than the low quality due to low budget, there was also a poor script and some bad acting) however I still enjoyed it overall and I will probably rewatch the Aiden/Danny scenes in future. Their chemistry definitely carried this project along, even though Rico and Mika got interesting towards the end.
I think that's only meant to be the first part of a longer story - if it isn't, it was pleasant to watch but maybe…
I did see the "End of Book 1" line. But it wasn't super clear that this meant "There is going to be a season 2". If there is a season 2, like you I'd like to see where this goes, but more importantly more growth from Kian (the character) as well as Chester Chua as an actor.
This was a bit meh for me... Which I'm sad to say because I really like Aron. I didn't like Kian, I didn't really feel any chemistry between them and in fact I don't think we can call this a BL series... Yes I know that there is no need for kisses etc. to call a series a BL, but to be honest other that Aron's gesture at the end of the finale, I didn't see anything that hinted that there was more than a childhood friendship there. And the "jealous" fit from Kian the other day doesn't really count for me. 5/10 because I loved Aron, his cute smile and his cooking.
Did anyone notice that they are wearing each others initials on their necklaces? So cute! Where is the scene when…
I only noticed today that Aron was wearing the K, and then someone mentioned that Kian was wearing the A in Ep 1, and it was true (I never noticed). I want to see how that came about as well.
If this had more than one episode left I would have dropped it... I'll reserve my final comments until after the finale but so far it is fair to say that I am really disappointed. It would take close to a miracle to steer this thing back so we can call this a decent series overall, but I'm definitely not holding my breath...
Yea, I hate him for lying. He's staying in Tan's house and Tan has to work for both of them and what he does.…
Nah, I agree with Mandy - Oil didn't lie to get Tan to leave, he just wanted Tan to go and have dinner with his "family" without him tagging along (where he probably thinks he doesn't belong)
I'm actually surprised he ended up agreeing to do a BL at all... I really thought he was going to firmly stick…
Indeed, some are very uncomfortable with those roles... >.< Thanks for the clarification on Nanon's background, I never would have known otherwise and it gives me a better appreciation for him and this project :-)
Nanon is very picky with his roles, so the fact that he has accepted this as his first BL says something. And…
I'm actually surprised he ended up agreeing to do a BL at all... I really thought he was going to firmly stick with the straight character roles til the end. I'm very curious to see how this will go :-)
I swear to you guys, Solo's dad isn't this terrible, he's just misunderstood. It's just Solo's the one that got…
Quite interesting - sounds exactly like what people were saying about Itt in My Gear and Your Gown before everyone (who didn't read the book) got to see that Photo club room scene... I can't wait to see WHY Jay loves him so much then.
I've only watched 4 episodes so far, but god, I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to finish this series.…
Hold on until the beach episode. There is still a little it of cringe, but it was still OK. It gets a bit emotional after that (but still OK). I found that Solo showed a bit more varied expressions after the emotional part, but still not much changes from Gui... I only have 1 episode left, which is why I still continue with it - I want to know how it ends (I'm too curious ^^') If it's really too much of a bore after episode 8, then you might as well drop it.
From what I saw, I would say Ram refused to be interviewed by Migo and Migo is salty about it. Not sure if there…
Oh, I didn't realise Migo was the one who made the first comment, I thought it was that whatever-his-name-is, who tried to hit on Ram and got ignored. Well, if that's the case, the anger was rather justified
