Ok, it's making sense now. You guys are talking about people on other sites. As for the level of intimacy equating cheating... because of that very reason & it's CN, plus ZBB's fame level versus WD's, there is NO WAY there will be any storyline that will be a rivalry. I'm a fan of WD, and I think he's above being the 3rd wheel. HOWEVER, I'm going to enjoy his acting & all the others as the show's been great so far.

Also, the people shipping on like Douyin can be annoying etc, but at the end of the day, anyone can ship who they like. At least on here, we're more respectful of the CP.

* The scenes you may not like have been filmed, & it is part of the story; you'll just have to hate 2ML. But like I said, he's there to make the mains look good. There hasn't been a major rewrite to make him more equal or a threat.

There is no actual triangle in the book but his char will be driven to protect her as he's destined to (it'll make sense when they do his & her origin story), he himself does not understand love...

I'm afraid it's in the book & they've already filmed those scenes. But the main CP is safe. They are the endgame, & ML2 will only serve to make them look 'whiter than white' which is a good thing. This is no shade, but I'm genuinely curious as I watch purely for entertainment, but it looks like for some, maintaining the purity of a CP is a big thing, there's talk about 'cheating' etc, why is that?

Oh wow, I'm going to have to process this all & read it very slowly, again & again🤣. I spoke to another user b4 & she said 'Destiny' had no romantic feelings for CPearl in heaven, it's when he's NXY. But it sounds like the middle cycle on the fate map is where they're going to tell the part you just explained, except WD's char 'Imperial Tutor' looks like it's an adapted char. I wonder when that'll start as it's ep 20 already.

You're killing me again😄. I've seen others are also concerned about the CP. To me, they WON'T change it. In the book, MXL is friendlier with NXY, whilst in the drama they already made it clear-cut. Also, while the author in her footnotes liked NXY, she knew to keep it to just MXL & XXC for the endgame.

As she said, it's about fate and cause & effect. MXL & XXC are fated, whilst NXY is destined to be 'Destiny.' Out of reach, unattainable, unfathomable, & unstained by the mortal realm.

It is confusing as this Xianxia blurs the lines. But in the story, he is the mortal. Possibly he means the 7 sects live on kinda floating islands, so when he takes her downtown, it's below the islands but still in the same realm, if that makes sense...
