So true, I hope his luck of drama airing continues. I noticed him from 2 scenes in 'BR' (taking out WM's heart, & seeing her for 1st time) both had no dialogue but you could read it on his face/ eyes.

In the book, NXY is straight with her & doesn't push her. FL will go towards him for a bit too.
BUT for an incident at the end when he regains his form & turns 'bad' ( u may not likee that bit, lol) but he makes up for it after...

It's not 80%. The comments are like 2/3 that ship them. Mostly they like his char & want him to get a HE or be loved.

There is the heavenly realm here. Judging from their m.up styling at the time, it may play a bigger part than in the book.

The wigs & m.up there were viscous. Outside of work without makeup, he looks young too.

It's Xianxia, so the chance of the tragic or villain ML2 is high. Also, the reason he feels familiar & close to her 'spirit' will make sense when they go backwards.

Ngl: I love NXY & wish he wasn't in this 3some.

I loved they slipped that in as foreshadowing. I can't wait to see how they move to the new extra timeline that they described as 'Möbius Strip'/ time travel/ time skips/ reversals🧐.

Ep 9 & 10: Love, we got to meet the rest of the alliance, and Fu Lansheng meets GQM lol. Plus the 'dream' sword dance between ML & FL was so beautiful but very bittersweet.

I really don't want to see NXY get hurt. Wished he had someone to love him. BUTTT this is WD, so fat chance 😅.

*When NXY asks MXL if the man she remembers & loves is not the present XXC, who doesn't have that memory. Whether it would be the same?

Tbh, this is the one spoiler I don't want to give as it's central to the whole story. I'll say that they're connected 'spiritually'. Someone else will prob spoil you...

Also, apart from the difference in sexes, the FL's obsession with ML, whom she meets briefly when he's an adult, is similar to 2ML/FL situation. But poss because it's the girl doing the pursuing it sits better. I'm not sure why they didn't follow the book age there tho🤔.

It is in the novel😏, tho NXY was around 15yrs in the book when he was tortured/damaged. He dreams of a someone & feels a connection to MXL's spirit. He himself won't know the reason why for a while.

Tbh, the mid-circle added for the drama is confusing, as the characters there are what I imagined for the origin (maybe I'm remembering the book wrong). The centre also matches the origin, apart from the ML's role there. Maybe they split the origin story & mixed in parts to split it into 2 lifetimes.

In the book there were 2, but the drama's Fate Map has 3. The middle cycle wasn't in the book. & their current life is on the outer circle.

I'm on ep 6 & loving it so far. I've got a short atn span but haven't felt it dragging yet. I've read the book & they're going fast already.

I'd say this one feels more adult versus a sugary sweet style XX. The fight scenes & SFX look good. It's my 1st time seeing SZN & she has a strong screen presence, perfect for her char, & not annoying. I'd say try an ep to see if it's your thing...

If it's like the book, it's not him. He's not the one who really needs the Chaos Pearl. He remembers FL from the past, but there's another reason why he feels like he knows her.
