I think they're still filming this month. LYT's studio lists she's on-set for Sept ( tho they don't say which set ). I'll try an add 2 pics of Tian Jia Rui... only thing I know about him is that he's GJM's newest sign-on.

I think like in 'BR' viewers will gravitate to CSX's madness/antics.

However, I've never seen (which could be just me) a FL that kisses the 2/3ML 'willingly', to then end up with ML1. Think I heard CSX kisses her when he confesses on his deathbed? That, they may adapt to kissing her hand/head/ them crying together😏.

'Bloody Romance' was an erotica/soft porn hence the writer totally changed orig Wan Mei (she slept with both ML's + her way thru the missions). But she didn't change Gongzi too much ( apart from the s*x bit) so that made his grey character more memorable.

I've seen similar set-ups in C Dramaland & they've shown those scenes. @Krystal will know what I mean, there was a similar character to CSX's in 'Bloody Romance'. They aired his advances/attempts. Some of them were divisive/triggering for some viewers. The book it followed was even more full-on...
