Also sometimes actors are REALLY bad at self-dubbing too, it really takes years of practice to master dubbing, and if they never bothered before it just turns downright bad.

Wasn't there a rule put in place in 2022 where the production/actors now had the obligation to do their own dubbing, except when one of the actors has a strong regional accent? Maybe the bill didn't apply to this drama at that time.
My issue lies first and foremost with FengShaoFeng dubbing since I know his real voice from Story of Minglan, this dubbing is soooooo far away from his real tone, it's just off-putting!
He clearly needs replacing, he has since episode 1 taken the worst decisions possible at every turn, and will see his people killed to protect his egomania!
About everyone can do a better job that he did, certainly our brave and cunning Gil Chae would be 100x the king he is >
