I quite like this series however I do not feel any chemistry between the leads. For me I find HY too mushy and MZ too bland. Does the chemistry improve?

This drama has way too many boring fillers to stretch out the episodes. I am at episode 22 and can't see how the heck another 18 episodes can keep my attention. Does it get any better or is it more of the same. Also absolutely no chemistry between the ML.

Tks I am rewatching on YT and loving it.

watching this again last time it was via IQiyi rotten subs. Now on Kukan via YT and loving it all over again.

watching this after some episodes of The Snow Moon and Zuo Ye looks totally different in this drama. I prefer his appearance in TSM.

Zuo Ye looks different in IDWTBAP and The Snow Moon in the latter he appears more handsome and sensual.

WXY is so good in this. Hard to believe he is only 22. So far this is one of the best CDramas I have seen for some time. All acting in this series are well cast. The story is well thought out and direction is great. Highly recommend this one!

My 2 favourite historical dramas are both Korean. Empress Ki (Netflix) and The Red Sleeve (Viki). If you want to watch a real eye opener try The Frozen Flower..... not sure where this is available presently it's a story about a gay Korean King. Amazing movie.

Quite enjoying the drama however SK's exaggerated floppy shoulders in those foppish suits was off putting. He is a very attractive man but here he was overtly foppishly dressed, don't think this style suits him. Also a decent haircut would not have gone astray. Only an opinion so don't shoot me......

I agree with the comments re the modern day arc of the story. Hopefully in the final episodes we see less of the modern day. I also find the FL lacks chemistry and her character as a firefighter is quite unbelievable. Hope things improve as I am finding the story line and dialogue dull and unimaginative.

I am still around and still watching the innocence trope, even though it's annoying at times and totally unrealistic.

The direction and screenplay of this drama is so annoying.

I am finding the dialogue increasingly annoying. Case in point the scenario where FL goes to the nursery on her own after an incident on the mountain. ML turns up and she says to him he should not have come on his own as it is dangerous...... WTF. She came on her own. The screen writer has not had a project since 2018 and I think it shows. The FL is being written as an empty headed twit. Lazy plot with SML crushing on FL including the 2 bitchy unattractive coworkers. Been there seen it all before. Going to drop it.

Could not agree more re JTBC's reaction - keep on trolling kids, I can hear the jangle of money rolling in......
