When every single drama become time travelling, most of them will fail to be funny, only 1 or 2 will be entertaining. When every single drama become amnesia, most of them also fail to be sad.
This drama has tropes, but the acting was so good and the tropes are still refreshing. Very touching show. Love everything about it. Great plot, pacing, music, etc.

Totally disagree. I did not like any of the songs at first but they really grew on me, especially because of the last episodes. The melo vibe was done exceptionally well. Time travelling is such an overused theme, they'd done this so carefully so it wouldn't feel repetitive like it's the same as other previous dramas. Highly rewatchable show, from beginning to end.

Look at what a fake fan she is first though, she doesn't even want to rate anything of Esther bc she needs to rate Zhao Liying's stuff only, but if she does that, everyone will know she's ZLY's people. I can respect Esther for the fact that when she acts mean, rude, and disgusting to others, she does it very openly and then she accepts all the bad things people say to her online. She is already so rich that what she cares is real data, she doesn't have interest to buy data bc that's boring for a crazy rich person who wants to know their real standing in the game. ZLY is a green tea bish, pretends to act innocent, but behind everyone's back, stabs them on the back. She is the queen Trashta of The Remarried Empress, likes to cheat and win through shameless schemes.

It was the first time Nazha act, but she already get to star with Hu Ge and they had good chemistry along with a good relationship in real life. So I am a liar because I do know who you work for now. She's also dying to work with Hu Ge but he outrightedly rejected her collaboration and ignore her even when she begged hosts to seat her next to him. I would refrain from talking about actors salaries, because as viewers, that's not our job. If an actor chose to accept a role for certain amount of money, that is their decision. We don't control their money! PERIOUD. We watch what they deliver, if it's good, we can share our opinions they did well. If their performance is hooooooooooooooooooooooorible, we can complain.

When it comes to if they cannot act, but bought tons of water armies to praise them, we can speak the truth but a few people against billions of water armies never win bc the truth always get burried. Scary part is we will even get muted and put in trouble, bc we're going against powerful people. There are things, real fans can never control, ever. Only water armies can win. There is truths to that the government controls everything, if they want a show to be good when it's bad, then it's going to be the best show ever. About whoever complaining about Neo's salary, I agree his payment is ridiculously too much, but I won't care since he's not a bad actor anyways. If he cannot act and getting that much pay, I might put in my 2 cents. He's not my fave, he's just too tiny, it makes him less masculine compare to all the others. But I managed to sit through lots of his shows, although I'm not crazy over him, I still can't criticize his acting. How much a person gets paid, that's not our business. If the show is already good, BE GRATEFUL! If we want to speak, then speak when a show is horrible. For shows that are horrible and the main lead gets 90% of the salary while everyone less gets little money, yes, please complain, but I don't see any complainers for those things. acting shown since Chinese Paladin?? I don't agree. I first saw her as a supporting role for Hu Ge in Xuan Yuan Sword and she was already so amazing. Then I watched her in 9 Tail Fox and she was amazing again.
I think everything sort of went downhill after Chinese Paladin. I find her acting great in Chinese Paladin, I dropped that show because I didn't like the male lead, he did great in Wu Xin but his acting in Chinese Paladin is just such a huge throw off. If anything, he should be getting the hate instead of Nazha. I also like Joe and misses him from Started With a Kiss but his character was 2 timing so that's another thing that led me to drop the show. I didn't like the leads nor 2nd leads, but the casts were all amazing, that's for sure. I believe it was fear of Nazha becoming famous, she got marketing attack since Chinese Paladin.
I finished Mountains of seas, but I didn't really like the show. It's not her acting, but the script, it was very foolish. I think that led to further bullying and marketing attacks. I agree it was thanks to tons of bad opportunities and casting with wrong people that led to her downfall. On top of that, her unfortunate private life matters was exposed, and "someone" is clearly targetting her all the time with all those silly marketing attacks. Luck was not her side. Finally, Glory is proving me right, I always say it's not her acting. Those picking on her acting and saying she's "too pretty to act" are the same water armies attacking Dilraba, anything they say is not reliable, we know who can act but just constantly landing on bad projects.

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD (costume show) AIRING AT THIS TIME, although Chen Xingxu is a long time actor I never really know him. I am just so so glad to get to watch 2 of his dramas in a row this month, he really won me over and I don't even like contemporary. He manages to get me to watch 2 of his contemporary, that is how amazing he is. I am glad he gets paired up with great female leads. If not because of Lu Yuxiao I wouldn't pick up Love Between Lines and fell for Chen Xingxu. Although I love Lu Yuxiao, I wasn't going to pick up a contemprory because it's just not my type of thing. But it is really a great timing, like I said, nothing good is airing at all, costume show wise. I also love Wang Yuwen. He has great chemistry with both ladies. Both dramas kept me on my feet while waiting for more episodes. I even dropped Glory, but finished Love Between Lines (still rewatching), and dying for more episodes from My Pages in the 90s.

I was a bit sad after Love Between Lines ended. It was a great show. I usually do not watch contemporary, but I am rewatching Love Between Lines again. I'm so happy that My Pages in the 90s is also airing right after. I am watching it right now, also very interested in it. I didn't realize he was in Goodbye My Princess, that wasn't my cup of tea, and back then I didn't find him attractive. He was still young at that time, I really think after aging, it makes him look very masculine and handsome. All the Chinese actors I like, I like them through costume drama. But Chen Xing Xu is special for me, I found him through contemporary. Looking forward to his growth and more success.

Although I view Liu Yifei as the prettiest and Lu Yuxiao resembles her greatly, I never really see LYX as a great beauty, she is a bit short sometimes and has a bit quirkiness that's very different from Liu Yifei. LYX can easily show playfulness and comedy. Many people use those things to attack LYX, how she doesn't walk perfectly and when in ancient costumes, they seem big on her. However, I LOOOOOOOOVE all those things about LYX and they're all what makes her so real. Ancient costumes are huge so she's acting very natural with them, she's not being pretentious. The way she handles them isn't the same all the time either, she was so elegant in and COOL in My Journey to You, yet, a bit clumsy but sassy and smart as Li Sanniang in Perfect Match. Don't judge the way a person walks, she does waddle a little bit bc that's how she naturally walks due to her legs. I don't know if they should be called flaws but I like them so much and they're what makes her so unique. While I don't view LYX as a great beauty, she is extremely attractive, and very screen addicting. I love her natural voice, she has a beautiful voice and I'm so glad she always dubs herself. I don't think she gets the best scripts and everything all the time, but she's highly captivating that I would manage to watch through most of her things all the time and always anticipating more from her. I usually don't watch contempory, and now, I'm so hooked to Love Between Lines. Hoping she receives recognitions she deserves.

Her expressions don't match the emotions because she tries way too hard. After marketing that hard, she is definitely too guilty and distracted.

Esther Yu is a very controversial person. I wouldn't say she doesn't play marketing at all, but she doesn't play it as stupidly as Zhao Liying does so I'm not annoyed at Esther yet. I can tell you're not a real fan of Esther bc you seem to hate Li Yitong and give her drama bad rating, and Esther doesn't see LYT as a threat but it's Zhao Liying who sees her threatful. You want to bring wedges between Yang Mi's fans and Esther's fans. You can give it up, a few of us only bring out ZLY because she openly market like a bish for many years. Esther has been around for a while but still considered new, her marketing and controversies are still not pushing the button yet, but if she persists with this attitude, she will become the next hateful Zhao Liying everyone looks down on. Marketing everyday, honing no skill, attacking peers everyday. People like that, where ever they go, everyone avoid and wouldn't interact with. Esther is very sociable so I don't think she will want to walk that path.

Not only was her acting fall short. Her drama has zero quality.

1. 2015 Journey of flower - plotless, the only purpose of that show is for her character to be PITIFUL and being miserable for no reason, all the other female characters were hateful, even making the male lead hateful and making the CP unshippable. But she managed to pay her fans making the CP worked, to Wallace Huo's gullible surpise back then not knowing anything. No one had ever been so shameless like that before that's why he never knew or suspected her until years later, he finally knew why their CP was that insane compare to all of his other high quality works from the past when JOF is such bullcrap.

2. 2016 Legend of Chusen - plotless, the whole story never moved. Her character was supposed to die early but she refused, and she stole all of Yang Zi's scripts. Had this shamelessness been anyone else they would've been cancelled by the public already, but she managed to pay fans to protect her ass that she didn't do any of that. Like shit? NOT EVEN HALF of the story was filmed, cause she refused to step down, even hire fans to say nasty things to Yang Zi and still has the face to say she's innocent. Like bish, what med are you on?

3. 2017 Princess Agent - plotless. She doesn't have a single talent to star in Wuxia and martial arts theme, she couldn't even film half the story.

4. 2018 Ming Lan - boring, couldn't even act. She looked dumb, nothing smart for the character.

5. 2019, scandals. Did not film the whole year but managed to be on top search the whole year relying on scandals.

6. 2020 Legend of Fei - full of crap, cannot even live up to Wuxia and still keep filming it just bc Wang Yibo was in the show. She literally had an affair with him and then hire the media to throw her husband under the bus that he was having an affair.

7. Self produced Xianxia, Legend of Shen Li is executive director. Full of crap again. For many years, she looks down on Xianxia and was hiring the news to bad mouth others, especially Yang Mi and Liu Shi Shi that they are not "serious" actress since they only starred in Xianxia. Then why is she throwing her money to produce a Xianxia, she has all the money and decision, why not produce other stuff? She moved all the way to that high position smoothly

I don't even care how much of a crap she is, and how dumb her works are, and how desperately she wants to be famous. She literally buys the media to keep reminding everyone how pitiful her country life was as a child, and that she never used any men to work her way up, despite the fact that she has Nicky Wu buying her so many companies listing her as CEO and giving her a share of Strawbear, Ding Zijun acting as her secret agent and helping her change agencies as if changing new clothes while people such as Zhao Lusi can't even change 1 agency (just 1), ZLY can change as many as 5 different agencies within 1-3 years just as easy as that. Totally no men involved. But I'm so tired of her paying so much people to say hateful things to others, especially seniors like Yang Mi, Liu Yifei, Liu Shi Shi, Yang Zi, etc. and then the younger ones that are way more talented than her and she gets jealous, like Zhao Lusi, Dilraba, Chen Duling, Zhou Ye, etc. She's just way too toxic that her face has become so hateful, it's impossible to like.

Who can hide news as huge as death news? That's like Zhao Liying thinking she can lie about pregnancy when the baby will be popping out in the next few months. Really dumb. No matter what, news like that will get out and there must be an explanation. The fact that you keep watching Marcus over and over but you don't even know a thing until you have to do so much extra research tells everything about how he is like. He chose to explain the news, yeah? BUT, not in the way where it will tell the honest truth. Those who foolishly trust Marcus will just think all they need to do is watch Marcus and they know everything, but there's way more to it bc Marcus picks the CCP and will never spit out a truth. What a joke? Marcus is featuring news about Fan Shiqi in the manner as if he's a super star, being cyberbullied. On the other hand, many already confirm him and Song Yiren's involved and even laid their hands on YML. I get why Chinese netz would fear and not talk, but as an international person, we have a voice, we should speak up for justice for YML. Marcus does not talk about any of the death conspiracies. Lin Gengxin, Wang Sicong, Kris Wu, Zhao Liying are friends very close together. The Legend of Chu Qiao, means The Legend of eliminating Qiao Renliang. The way he was tortured to death was the same way the ML in Princess Agents was tortured.
If Qiao Renliang's death is not related to spiritual sacrifices, he might've gotten involved with some people's mistresses. Clearly, someone powerful hates him enough to murder him brutally and even flaunt about it by making a drama about it. Even marketing the dumb drama to be one of the most popular when the plot is NON-EXISTING, I knew these data had always been fake. Just didn't know there are even way more darker conspiracies behind it. Internally paid marketers such as Marcus Sim promotes it more than anything, and now he's all hushed up about the murder of Yu Menglong.
