That Once in a Lifetime Type of Love
First off I would like to say how proud I am of Go Min Si for doing such a phenomenal job on her first lead role. In my opinion you could never tell that this was her first time leading in a drama. She is a natural - from her crying scenes to her scenes of joy, she absolutely killed it. Lee do Hyun also killed it of course (we know he is a fantastic actor already because of 18 again).A C T U A L R E V I E W :
If you are looking to watch a BEAUTIFUL yet MELODRAMATIC TEARJEARKER ROMANCE then THIS ONE IS FOR YOU !!!!! This was one of the most sincere romance kdramas I have watched in a while. Although it was frustrating and bellowing at times it still held me captive in the best way possible. Not only did the drama give me some insight into the Gwanju Uprising that {in real life} occurred in Korea during the 80s, it also made me feel so nostalgic for some reason. Watching two characters genuinely fall in love with each other whilst understanding each others flaws with the possibility of a sad ending will always have my heart, even though they know it could end in turmoil the fact that their "love" or "like" for each other is strong enough to keep them present is so beautiful to me.
The only flaw I would have about the drama is that I wish that the second main leads had more of a conclusive ending in the last few episodes as I am a big fan of the character that played Lee So Ryoens older brother {Lee Soo Chan}.

GREAT cinematography & CGI but a bit of a lackluster story line
So I just finished this movie and I was hoping for so much more with regards to the story line and origins of the whole plot but did not get any of that, I am the type of person that likes to know why things happened and how they happened but this story did not provide that in the whole duration of the movie HOWEVER:I loved the acting, some aspects of the story and most of all the CGI of this film - the quality was so damn good it felt like I was watching in the cinemas. One thing I did like about the story line was how they made the main antagonist a white man - whose aim was to colonize another planet whilst being evil in the process because if you look at history that is the most accurate depiction of events ever lol.
Overall I give it a 8/10 because the cast worked really well together and I enjoyed the integration of other countries / languages and races as well :)

The WOMEN in this show are IMPECCABLE !!!
Okay so I’ll try to write this with little to no spoilers but I must say, Penthouse is an absolute masterpiece. It’s a show that teaches us that no one is inherently good or bad, we all have our faults somewhere but the second we’re put in someone else’s shoes or in a minor predicament we switch up.The women in Penthouse really drove this whole show. It’s weird because I strongly dislike Cheon Seo Jin but seeing her work with Oh Yoon Hee and Shim Su Ryeon to take down Joo Dan Tae gave me so much satisfaction throughout omg !!!
The thing about penthouse is that even though it’s so predictable - at the same time it’s so unpredictable too - we don’t know what we’re going to get exactly and they always have us at our edge of our seats coming back for more each week. I’m so happy that I discovered this show, the only downfall now is that my standard for other shows will always be comparing them to this one and I can guarantee there will be no other like this show.
Season 2 ended off on a cliff hanger as we all suspected - I cannot even comprehend what the writers have planned for season 3 because the ending of Season 2 was so satisfying already !!! Anyways if you’re thinking of watching this show, DO IT !!! Do not hold back just watch it !!! Your blood will boil but you will also always be satisfied somehow.

WOW - I don't know what other word would describe this film besides this one
I came into this film without any high expectations and after 30 minutes passed by I was confused as to where the narrative or story line was going but after sitting through more of it I could tell. Not only is it about bullying and how detrimental it can be but it is also a story about life and other hardships. One thing I got from this film was to live in the present and to not judge other people as you do not know what they are going through or what they have been through. The male lead did an exceptional job at making us doubt him but in the same light have an ounce of empathy for him so that we knew not to give up.
There was also an aspect of parental neglect in this and I hoped they dived into that portion more but other wise I give this film a 9.5 - beautiful story about life, love and hardships. Life is not always beautiful but there's always some light at the end of the tunnel.

Exciting new take to the concept of time !!!
So I’ve only watched 3 episodes of this drama so far and my oh my is it good !!! I have high hopes for the ending but a part of me just feels like something bad is going to happen. So far the concept of the drama (time travel or the butterfly effect) is really up to standard !!! If you’re looking for a drama that incorporates mystery, thriller and sci-fi aspects to it I suggest you watch this !!! - will review again after I finish it.Casting - 10/10
Soundtrack - average nothing to rave about
Cinematography- amazing 9/10
Atmosphere/setting - high hopes !!!
