The point is that this isn't meant to be some deep dramatic series with intense plot. It's just a fun Omegaverse for people who like Omegaverse, it's not meant to be taken so seriously.
People in the comments act as if this series was aiming to win award shows or something. Not every show has to be a masterpiece for it to be enjoyable. This is a grade A dumpster fire behind the Cheesecake Factory and I am sat with popcorn to witness every beautiful second of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also if you go up where all of the ratings/stars are there's a little blue icon that looks like three lines, if you click on that it'll give you the statistics of the ratings including the age groups. Even though we're only mid-season so it's not completely accurate right now because most people don't rate a series until after its finished.

The real question though is not which age group enjoys this show more, it's whether the people who don't know anything about Omegaverse and never watched My Stubborn (basically went in completely blind) enjoy it as much as the people who do know what Omegaverse is and/or watched My Stubborn.

As far as reading it as the same time as the drama... Up to you. I personally like reading the updates alongside watching the series. It gives a more fuller experience, the visuals from the series and then the extra details from the novel which help explain the characters and setting. But I can understand not wanting to wait for chapter updates every week. The novel is definitely worth reading eventually though especially since it's being professionally translated so the English is actually understandable lol.

That's not true lol. Personally, I enjoy a mix of both. And honestly I think most fujoshi like fluff scenes over nc scenes, it's just that the dynamic between an allo couple and an ace couple are different and most prefer watching an allo couple.

So BL falls into two categories: Shounen-ai or Yaoi.
Yaoi is BL with sex. It can be smutty or slowburn, but there'll be intimacy between the characters.
Shounen-ai is BL without sex. It focuses solely on the emotional aspect of the relationship.

Mr. Kill is a shounen-ai. The two main characters will form a relationship that is based on love, trust, and respect for each other just like any other BL pairing except they won't have any intimate scenes with each other. Instead there'll be light flirting, lingering looks, and an overall lovey-dovey vibe.
DewTee actually have great chemistry with each other since they've been friends with each other for years irl so they're very comfortable around each other which makes them perfect for shounen-ai.

I still don't understand why series like this one and Wu are being marketed as bromance instead of shounen-ai. Does GMMTV just not realize that what they're making is called shounen-ai? Or are they trying to appeal to an international audience by using an english term?
Idk, when I think of bromance my mind immediately goes straight to early 2000s action/comedy movies with two very hetero male leads where at least one them typically has a female love interest. Which obviously this is not that lol. This is very much BL without sex which is shounen-ai.
You would think that GMMTV would try to appeal to their fujoshi fanbase by using a genre they would better recognize. Even if a fujoshi has never read a shounen-ai I would still think they would be familiar with the term, more so than bromance at least.

Yes, I think the writers wanted to show what an alpha x omega meeting and relationship building normally looks like so we'd have something to compare with Phatsa and Nakhun. I'm really excited to see Naphitch and Sangnuea's relationship unfold. I feel like they're going to be a very spicy couple~ <3

Everyone thinks Phatsa is a regular omega though and in this series omegas seem to be more gentle, delicate type which is why the family thinks he'll like housework stuff. I'm sure once they find out he is a pure omega they'll treat him very differently lol.

The novel takes the time to explain things better. Obviously in a tv series the screen writers are hampered by a limited amount of screen time for each scene, but in a novel the writer can take their time to describe a scene more fully, explain the world and the lore better, and to explain what a character's thoughts are. It really is a much more enjoyable experience to watch the series for the visuals and then read the novel along side it to get a better understanding of what's happening on screen.
