Ah that's fair. My Beautiful Man is one of those hit or miss shows tbh. It's not until end of the movie that the main character gets over his self-degradation bs and the two leads start having a healthy relationship. I probably wouldn't have gotten through s1 if I hadn't watched a crack vid of all of their dumb antics in the movie lol.

If it's airing in the beginning of September than we can expect the official trailer to drop around mid-august. Then we'll finally get to see what the cgi and sfx will look like.
I'll watch the show regardless, but I think we can all agree that good cgi is better than bad cgi.
I'm also curious to see how much the series is going to differ from the novel since the novel can barely even be described as fantasy or supernatural.

If you haven't seen My Beautiful Man definitely check that out. It's a jbl with two seasons and a movie. The series is as lovely as it is painful to watch as the characters develop from being toxic to each other to accepting each other's love. The soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous as well.
Also Love You Teacher is a great watch , it's a Thai bl that just finished airing. This series will have you crying in every episode, but it's also very bright, colorful, and it never feels bogged down with drama. The mixture of humor and tragedy are mixed perfectly right and the couple has a warm and heartfelt relationship that they hold onto as they help each other overcome their past traumas.
And as a bonus The Grim Lover is an upcoming Thai series, it explores a relationship that develops after the MCs boyfriend dies. The pilot trailer is way more fantasy coded than the book is, so it may or may not be what you're looking for if you're looking for more slice of life style, but it'll probably still be a great series regardless. It's supposed to air around the end of this year.

This week's episode was so good~ I love the relationship building between Niran and Pete. Their interactions seriously made my heart flutter and I was giggling like a fool. Anyone who hates this type of character dynamic must be some kind of damaged.
I'm also always so surprised to see how Sky and Nani are acting in this series, these roles are so different from their irl personalities. Sky is such a goofball (Tay's child for real, no DNA test needed lol), but Niran is so quiet and mature and gives off a commanding aura. Nani on the other hand is so soft and gentle, but Pete is a hot head ready to fight at any second. The way they've brought these characters to life is seriously impressive. I can't wait to see how they develop as the series continues.

Ah, still a few hours before it airs. I guess I'll watch a jbl to pass the time~

I don't think there is any actual known reason just a lot of fan speculation. Could be a marketing strategy by GMM to have a non-bl ship to appeal to wider audiences. Could be that SkyNani just don't want to film intimate/nc scenes which go hand in hand with bls. Or maybe SkyNani could actually be acespec and want to represent the community. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Even if unintentional I'll accept any representation I can get. I just don't get the acephobic comments on here at all. Any other fandom I've seen with characters that are somewhat ace coded have been mostly accepting of aces and just let us have our headcannon lol. Even though fujoshi on MDL are a whole different breed from fujoshi on other parts of the internet so I guess it's not completely surprising.

We're midseason if you didn't realize. It'd be kind weird if didn't know who the baddies are at this point. There's only four episodes left to resolve all of the problems.
We still don't know what happened to Gaysorn's mom. We saw Scent's uncle push Gaysorn's dad down the stairs, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's dead. He could be held prisoner paralyzed/in a coma like Scent's dad. Scent still doesn't realize that his uncle is manipulating him. If Scent doesn't use Gaysorn's scent to make a perfume does that mean that his company is going to go bankrupt? Will Gaysorn ever return to Mudan? Are Mata and Tawan actually going to go to Bangkok to find Gaysorn? Will we get to see TawanSun be a thing??? Are Ray and Mekin ever going to stop traumatizing Gaysorn at any point?
And hopefully we get a wedding scene, cause PearlPeak's characters from Love in the Moonlight didn't get one.

So much hate for Scent, but you all are trying to apply logic to his actions and have completely forgotten that the man is dumber than a door knob. Did you guys forget that time he decided to climb a mountain in dress clothes with no hiking supplies? That head is completely empty. The only thoughts he has are the ones his uncle puts there tbh.

Finished watching LYT and looked to see what P'Dome is directing next to find out it's this. That makes me even more excited. After LYT I trust P'Dome to tackle any subject matter.

I also see that the acephobes have already found their way to here as well. Honestly, I don't get what's wrong with you all. There are so few characters on tv and in movies that can be considered asexual and instead of being happy for the small group of people that enjoy them you all just continually bash them for no reason. If it's not your cup of tea then move on with life, there's no need to be hateful. There are plenty of other actors to follow and series to watch, go enjoy those instead.

SantaPerth would be very fun, but vers actors and couples are very rare.
Maybe if enough fans ask them about it they might be willing to switch, but their next two projects are already lined up (Spooky Love Tale and a mystery one that they haven't announced the title of yet) so if they do consider switching it'll be a while yet before we see it.

If you go to the tab where the episodes are listed you can individually rate each episode which affects the overall rating of the series. Some people are tanking the scores of episodes that haven't aired yet by giving low ratings while others are trying to bloat it by giving high ratings. It's basically just a dumb pissing contest between children right now. Once the episodes air the majority of people watching will give their honest reviews and the rating will average out.
Definitely agree with Blackdream, you shouldn't be able to give a score to something that hasn't even aired yet.

The whole queer-baiting argument around this series is so bonkers to me. They act as if the actors forced them to have delulu thoughts and expectations about them and the show. As far as I've seen SkyNani both on and off set have never had any type skinship or done any type of bl fan service. (Ironically NutHong are way more flirty with each other, actually star in bls, and nobody says anything about them or complains that they aren't going to be a couple in 21.) I really don't get trolls at all lol, like they should seriously consider therapy instead wasting their time on chat boards.
