This must have recently gotten an MDL page, because I check periodically to see if the drama is available to watch anywhere or if there are subs available to download, and I've never come across information about a movie. Now there's more in this story universe I wish I could track down to watch/rewatch.

I don't know why I felt the need to comment this on the internet, but here you go, lol.

It's technically 16. This drama aired during a period when Korean broadcasters were splitting up their normally 1 to 1 and 1/2 hour episodes up into two 35 to 45 minute episodes to try and skirt a new law about how many advertisements could be played within an hour air time on Korean television. Don't know if they still do that in Korea or not, but they aren't doing it outside of Korea anymore, lol.

I just finished this for the first time, and I am majorly regretting not watching it when it aired. This drama is a 10 across the board.

Just finished my first rewatch. I'm pretty sure this drama will always make me ugly cry.

Him opening her door for her annoyed me too! I was like 'Girl can get her own door! Right now, YOU NEED TO GET IN THE DANG CAR!!!!!!' What a strange moment for chivalry, lol.

I was more talking about him possibly dying/being dead and how they are going to bring him back. Will his ghost walk around with her while he lies in a coma for a period of time, will he be miraculously brought back to life with seemingly no physical health affects, did grandma's prayers save his life? I just don't know which option is the most likely scenario, lol.

Protection from grandma isn't something I'd thought about, but that's totally possible.

This is my current theory as well, because nothing else really seems logical.

I don't think that means he won't eventually try to chase the male lead away. There wasn't really a reason before this episode for Min Hwan to interfere as there weren't any sort of romantic feelings happening between the leads. It also doesn't look like he chased the fiancé away until the relationship had gone on for a little while. I think the test will come when the leads start to really feel something for each other/get serious.

I do think Min Hwan is trying to protect Yeo Ri, and maybe there was a good reason for him to scare off the fiancé, but I still think he might be trying to keep Yeo Ri from having any romantic relationships as well.

I thought this as well, but wasn't he wearing a dark shirt when he got there to save her? That makes me second guess the possibility that it's him and not his ghost. Also, it's kind of ridiculous for him to get hit by a car, go unconscious, his vitals completely drop, then he's been revived and is just walking around within what would probably be the span of 2 or 3 hours, lol.

I mean, they could totally do that, but then we're just throwing believability completely out the window, lol.

Episode 4's twist was Not on my bingo card for this drama, and I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out how that plot point is going to play out, lol. I mean, this is clearly a happy-ending romance, so by virtue, certain things have to be off the table. But I don't know how else they plan to use this plot device.

I'm sure the direction they go will feel obvious when next week's episodes are out, lol.

He reminds me of Seo In Guk so much that I think about it every time he's on screen, lol.

That seems plausible to me as well.

I hope not. I wouldn't really be interested in that.

I definitely think people should watch the original film. It's really good. I just don't think there is enough overlap between the two so far for the original film to really provide much context for this drama. That might change though as the drama goes on.

Honestly, I don't think watching Spellbound beforehand will really give viewers any helpful insight into the drama. There are enough changes to the story that they feel pretty distinct from each other at this point.

I just started this a few days ago, and boy do I want to binge this so baaaaad. But I'm not as young as I used to be, and spending my entire day/night binging a drama would be a terrible idea, lol. So I guess I'll be patient. Even thought I don't want to, lol.

Do we know when this is going to air? I adore season 1, so I am All The Way SAT for this, lol.

It's still killing me, 5 years later. I now own the complete manga series, and I want to see this adaptation so baaaaaad.
