This is true. However, and it's a giant however, Mandarin is an extremely difficult language to learn. It's not as hard as learning Korean, but it's up there. Way up there. Which I mention as a person who's been learning languages for decades and studied linguistics at Uni.

He's 19, apparently, but he says he's not of legal age in one of the episodes (I think. I wasn't paying close attention.)

In a year that's been completely overstuffed with horrific events, this disaster is in the top five. What a tragic waste. So sorry for all the victims and their families.

I could watch 26 episodes of Wang An Yu doing nothing but painting a house, honestly.

But I'm not liking the age gap. He's not even portrayed as being of legal age, and she is crossing lines in her professional role that would get her fired if they were disclosed. I know it's a drama and not real life, but the power differential between the two characters is just too large. She's lovely, and I totally get why he'd be into her, but it's her job to deal with randy boys and not respond to any of their overtures. Sorry, it's bugging the crap out of me.

Also,I like the OST quite a lot, but why are the tunes English?

Since watching "Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo", I learned why high functioning autism was called "Asperger's Syndrome": that Hans Asperger was a Nazi, who experimented on children and advocated the murder of kids.

So, editors, let's not call it "Asperger's Syndrome" anymore, but refer to it properly as "Autism Spectrum Disorder:"

Sure. I'm not complaining about the release pace. I'm always extremely grateful for the work that Thippy does. I was only concerned that something or someone (besides real life) was interfering.

Thippy is subbing two dramas, currently, and hasn't updated either one since September 30.

Alwaysgrumpycat left a drama hanging with two episodes to finish, and hasn't updated anything since September 30, either.

Both of these superb subbers typically post updates every few days, at a minimum.

I really, really dislike dramas that present same sex romance in ways that are anything other than healthy and normal.

Missing from this list is "Love & Marriage: Divorce" part 3 - 20 because I thought Netflix would keep producing seasons of this until we are grandparents. And if ever there is a show that didn't need a part one to begin with, this would be it.

The subber of this drama has not updated it since September 30.

No one seems to be updating their subs since September end. Has anyone else noticed this? Is something systemic going on?

Oh my gosh! Seven prisoners! In the same prison! At the same time! Because it's a prison! With seven people in it, imprisoned at the same time! Because they sinned! Desires, desires and desires, because of sin! By seven prisoners in the same prison at the same time!

This synopsis is complete lunacy. I absolutely love it.

I would have loved the show to have stayed in the same world as Part 1, her domestic life with her tiger mother and lovely brothers and father instead of migrating to her palace life and its characters in Part 2.

Still, this drama is like the drama gods gave me a gift, which I'll try not to watch so many times that I ruin it for myself.

Both parts, a solid 10 for me.

This is not a good show. It's boring. There's no chemistry between the FL & ML. The FL alternates between crying and grinning like a Cheshire cat.

The rest of the cast is good, though, as are the 2nd and 3rd romances. If you watch this, they'll be the reason you stay for all 15 episodes.

Pity it has such a crappy ending.

Quite hilariously bad and delicious at the same time. This will be a guilty pleasure you never mention, but watch pretty often. Trust me.

This is pretty small in the context of how overwhelmingly bad the show is, but there's like a cornucopia that continually spits out pretty dresses for the FLs. (I wonder about this in other dramas, too.) I mean, both FL's turn up at the governor's mansion without even their toothbrushes. How do they get perfectly fitting dresses the same hour and every episode? It's a mystery.

Me, neither. It's a way to avoid the ire of the audience after the show's wrapped up and everyone's pissed at the way it originally ends.

Without a doubt, in my top 5 Cdramas. I know I'll watch this every year, maybe during the week between Christmas and New Years.

This show is quite special, like getting a present.

And the FL's fingernails are stupid long.

Gosh, the female characters in this drama have so much filler in their lips, they look like they're wearing pillows,. The wigs are terrible, too. Also, the BGM is waaaaaay too loud and intrusive.
