Imagine having a slice of your favourite pizza when you are extremely hungry. The pizza has all your favourite toppings on it, and you have been hungry for a while, so that first slice tastes absolutely heavenly. Now imagine having 8 slices of the same pizza. You still love the pizza just as much, but you do want to maybe take a break before eating another slice.

In this sense, HP2 came out at the perfect time, just long enough to make us miss the original cast and remember all the Easter eggs from season 1 too!

My favourite storylines, aside from the fantastic five of course, has to be the INCREDIBLE chemistry and friendship/romance between the Chairman and Rosa! They were the DEFINITION of a charming couple, teasing and supporting and caring for each other. The way that the Chairman treated her was downright SWOONWORTHY, and how he seemed to be completely enamoured by her was so sweet to watch!
I also Loved LOVED the episode where they showed two best friends, where one wanted to donate part of his ORGAN to his best friend, knowing that the surgery could actually end up killing him. The way they interacted was so natural, it really seemed like they were best friends in real life!
Also I LOVED the tennis scene so much, I have replayed it countless times, it was so damn funny.
I even enjoyed the medical stories in the show, I was invested in the patients' lives and their treatment results, the way that these cases were interwoven into the storyline was great.

Of course, the rest of the show was funny and touching as well, I could even say I would really enjoy a third season of this amazing show, and maybe for these kind of shows we don't necessarily have to compare seasons, we can just enjoy them regardless!

Thank you for your comment. I hope more people can come to the same conclusions as you. It's okay if someone don't…
So, he was my first Oppa so to speak, the first Korean actor I feel head over heels for, and his show Suspicious Partners was the first Korean show I ever watched (not counting Antique Bakery that I saw in 2009).
I have seen many of his shows and truthfully, I can see a decline in the overall quality of shows he has been signing up for since a certain time frame, and it truly baffled me for a while because he has so much talent, it hurt to see his shows not doing that well simply because of a lack of quality scriptwriting.
But I have come to understand that his characters are what made him choose the shows, and that makes sense because his acting was still great even if the character itself wasn't, at least according to me.
It's a good thing that he has that kind of freedom to choose his own thing, I just wish that this lack of good scripts doesn't make him think that he is suited only for action.
I hope he understands that if his non-action dramas aren't being received that well, it is NOT because of a lack of action in them, but it's rather because the stories weren't that great regardless.
And also this does NOT mean he needs to pick action again, it only means that he needs to pick a good script!

I have seen a lot of interviews this sweet man has given recently, and one thing is clear- the ONLY reason this man acts is to tell a unique story to his audience.
It's not for money (he's filthy rich already), not as a favour to any director or actor(he seems like an extremely private person already).
He has repeatedly declared that he choses roles based only on ONE thing- and that's whether or not he wants to tell the story that his character is trying to tell.
He was sick of being typecast and decided to throw himself out of his own comfort zone, or maybe it was a zone that other people put him in, and labelled him as a 'handsome action star' etc.
I am also one of those fans who thought he was choosing bad dramas recently because I didn't enjoy those stories, but even then his acting was always amazing in every show.
I am sure his upcoming roles will make him even more versatile as an actor and I am rooting for him!
OPPA FIGHTING.

Okay HOW MUCH do I love the friendship and possible romance between Ju Jong Su and Jeong Ro Sa??? YES.
Also only on episode 9 of this show, but so far I have spotted THREE actors from Vincenzo!! Bong Kwang Hyeon the hot ER doctor, Shin Sung Eui the Radiology doctor in the awesome tennis scene, and Kim Jae Hwan, who was ANT company's henchman in Vincenzo.
And when Shin Sung Eui said to Ik Jun, "I'll help you get back to work quickly" that was hot.
Speaking of the tennis scene, it was the funniest part of the show till now, NO DOUBT. The stretching, the trash talk, the threats, PURE GOLD.

Yeah, that's another thing, the show felt like seeing 1 year for 14 episodes and then like 20 years in the last 2 episodes, made it a rushed conclusion.

You gave such a soulful plea I immediately went looking for Confession, but it’s not available anywhere. â˜č
It's a hidden gem of sorts, you'll have to try kiss asian / drama cool for this, that's where I saw it! But it's worth it imo, it was really enjoyable for me! I hope you find it and love it.

They were gonna break up, that much was obvious, but the way the break up happened didn't sit right with me, that's all.
They never really got a chance to grow apart, they just felt the first sign of trouble and she gave up on him too easily, that's actually my only complaint.
She is a fighter not a quitter, so she can't just give up on him like this, being a silent sufferer instead of being loud and honest about her problems like she always is (with her mom, with KYR, with literally everyone).
The actual NHD would've shouted at him for not taking time for her, then flown to the US at least once to knock sense into him, and maybe THEN given up if she thought she had tried everything to be together and if he hadn't reciprocated (but of course he would've because he loves her to death too, right).
Anyway, that's what I think.

PLEASE see this as a petition to watch CONFESSION, an amazingly well written legal drama which has an absolutely beautiful mystery which unfolds in pieces at the most perfect pace, and where the main characters have relationships and personalities that are meaningful and fulfilling. One of the best legal dramas I've seen.

Robots wrote the show?? That is a really stupid comment to make ngl.
Are you implying that I didn't understand the characters? That's a rather heavy accusation, I never do things half way, and be THIS passionate about a story unless I'd lived in the heads of the characters and fallen for them.
So like I said, a break up is a break up, but what was shown in the show was NOT IT.
Obviously everyone knows they aren't together in the end? If that's what you think people are mad about then you need to read again man.
The writer created characters and they write the show themselves, that's the whole POINT of creating this beautiful story and giving these characters so much personality and backstory and spirit, the story should FLOW, not stop and start at random points abruptly.
Even in a time travelling drama where the story does stop and start at odd points, viewers can easily make out the characters because they still have that CONSISTENCY in personality.
NHD made up with her mother when she realised that her mom was hurting in her own way, and she also forgave KYR when she was at her meanest, and NHD was always optimistic even in her failure and never gave up when THE WORLD was telling her to give up on her fencing, did YOU conveniently miss those parts in the show?? She was strong willed, that was her charm.
But she chose to walk away from her boyfriend that she loved with all her soul and had begged to get into a relationship with, at the first argument? That is a sign of a weak relationship, and neither of them wanted out at that point.
And then the writing forced her to ignore the fact that BYJs job was taking a toll on HIM in an incredibly bad way too, she would've never behaved so selfishly if she'd been IN CHARACTER like she'd been in the whole show previously, do you try to understand my perspective?

I find it kinda weird how ppl say this would be such a good drama but the ending ruined it. I mean didn't the…
"I mean didn't the previous episodes mean anything to ppl?"
Yeah they did, that is the WHOLE reason why the ending didn't make any sense whatsoever and spoiled the enjoyment of the show for a majority of the populace.
Imagine eating a pizza and it tastes amazing, but the last slice contains lettuce which is forced down your throat. Now you may love lettuce, but it still doesn't suit the pizza, does it?
Similarly if you loved the show, but if randomly the all-forgiving heroine decides to be unreasonably cruel to her depressed boyfriend, wouldn't it be weird and out of place? And if they fought and remained broken up forever because of that, isn't that weirder?
If you saw and loved the characters and fell in love with their stories and their passions, then you'd maybe understand that they behaved EXTREMELY out of character in a few scenes in the last episodes.
Not to mention the story of some of the characters was left unfinished, like Ji Seung Wan, who could've become a person who brought real change in the society because she saw how even the police couldn't protect her best friend from being abused by his teacher, but she was left with an unfinished possible romance, that's all.
The write obviously took control of the story and wrote an ending which contradicted the ENTIRE show that she had spent over13 episodes painfully crafting. That is why the ending left a lot to be desired, because of the LOVE people have for the show otherwise.

It’s expected of most drama watchers to rather pretend it doesn’t exist by remaining in denial or dont pay…

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
It’s expected of most drama watchers to rather pretend it doesn’t exist by remaining in denial or dont pay…
Unfortunately canon always surpasses reason and logic, it's not the want of a happy ending that persuaded me to write my comment, rather it's the obvious disconnect between the characters' behaviour from a certain episode onwards that made the ending incomplete and unfair, and downright impossible.

Shows like CLOY/The Red Sleeve or Hotel Del Luna etc. are expected to have the kind of ending they did, and they fit the narrative, but this show flipped sides abruptly and for no good reason.

A person's character is set early in age and doesn't change easily, and tenacity is a trait that exponentially multiplies, rather than diminishing when it's most needed. And NHDs best quality is her optimistic tenacity.
It never made sense to show a couple destined by fate to intersect and belong, and then show them falling apart at the seams at the first sign of trouble. Their passion cannot be easily replicated, and if YuRim and Moon Ji Woong's puppy love can withstand the distance, why can't a much stronger relationship like BaekDo's?
It's one of the rare incidents where the writer forcefully took control of these main characters to fit their own ending, rather than letting the character do the writing, as it should be done (and is almost always done by writers).
The show could've easily and sensibly ended with the couple crossing paths again and starting their story again.
