Haha, I get why you would not watch it due to a lack of romance, but I guess I wanted to give you a review about the entire show, not just the romance part, in case you decide to change your mind. :)
I prefer to watch dramas with good romance than anything else. Can anyone pls tell if I will enjoy this ? Thanks…
This show is mainly about the friendship between 3 girls and the shenanigans they go through for a specific time in their lives. It is funny, refreshing, thoughtful, full of sweetness and irony and sarcasm, and mundane things that somehow seem special. This show will teach you to enjoy your life, not because you have only one chance to live, but because it's genuinely enjoyable to figure out your own journey and make mistakes and correct them and make more mistakes and correct them and move on and so on. They support each other and it's all so REAL that it makes you want to live with them and experience this kind of genuine friendship. The romance is shown as a part of their lives, not an overbearing aspect of it, their lives are full of many other things as well that are equally important and in this sense romance is important too. But they don't focus on a fairy tale happy ending, rather it's about being comfortable with the fact that everyone's love story is different, and that love arrives and stays at different times, and it's all okay!
Sometimes I feel like even if this show actually surpasses the original one in terms of acting/ost/story, some 'old' fans will still be stubborn enough to declare it a 'flop' simply because they are too enraged to actually see the truth! I hope this show will WOW me, I like the cast a lot and have full faith in the director choice. And anyway, it's pointless to label a show as good or bad before seeing it. F I G H T I N G.
I think the point was to show that they were both hurting in a somewhat similar way from their previous relationships and found solace through that together, which could've turned into more. But maybe the writer wanted to show a healthy friendship which was supportive even without turning romantic. I also half expected them to start dating, but then I was also perfectly happy with their individual separate relationships towards the end.
The best story for me was Eun Jung's story, in fact, I kept watching it because of her story, even though she…
I literally agree with each and every single word! I loved watching Eun Jung start to love her life again, and her close and mature and loving relationship with her brother, and her connection with the Director who was truly the most hilarious character in the show, I absolutely loved him!
On point! I will never truly forget the tension I felt while watching Vincenzo.
No problem at all. I'm always happy to gush about Vincenzo, specially with someone who understands its greatness! Also if you ever find sizzling chemistry like Vincenzo please do let me know.

I honestly couldn't tell you, I've seen good chemistry in many shows but nowhere near Vincenzo. 'It's okay to not be okay' had good chemistry between the main leads and fairly slow burn romance as well. There are some that have great chemistry between the male leads, like The Devil Judge and Beyond Evil. But Vincenzo-level of chemistry I haven't seen ever.

IKR! I am re-watching it for like the 4th time, and I keep noticing new hidden glances and expressions and little 'Easter eggs' throughout the show still, even though I watched it pretty carefully the first time too. Just can't get over that couple.
Coming back to this show because I JUST CANNOT LET GO OF IT!!! Re-watching it for the 4thtime now, and I keep finding new glances, new looks shared between the lead couple, and new subtle hints throughout the show!!! This show was just SO DAMN GOOD.
If you love a chill dark comedy, with SIZZLING chemistry between the main leads, a smart and logical and sexy male lead, an understanding and mature and endlessly charming and sexy female lead, villains full of charisma and brutality, side characters worth their salt (although annoying at times), and a whole lot of STUNNING cinematography and music, you'll LOVE this show!
Also I have newfound love for Jeon Yeo Bin and Song Joong Ki !
I think watching Vincenzo last year has truly spoiled me to appreciate any silly romance shows now. I've become addicted to watching the gradual but unmistakable intimacy and understanding that a couple reaches while they're trying to go about their lives, and they just get closer and closer PURELY organically and it feels like the most natural thing in the world and it just makes SENSE. Anybody in those situations can feel the sexual tension and chemistry between them and VINCENZO was just the crème de la crème of what a relationship should be like.
Business Proposal was a little too cliche, a little too silly for me to appreciate the cutesy situations and coincidences and what-not. BUT I loved the boss/secretary relationship (although it was a bit shady how they decided their individual professions but anyway...), both the lead couples were very cute, I also liked the adorable grandfather and how he seemed to change his mind about Shin Ha Ri in the hospital. I didn't like the random vamp ex-girlfriend of Min Woo as much, also didn't like the female lead's cliched parents who seemed to be a bit greedy and overly conservative at times. I liked the music, and the length for this kind of a show was appropriate, it made perfect sense to end it where it did. Although the random scene at the end when Ha Ri is rushing to New York simply after reading about a 'scandal' involving Tae Moo showed a lot of insecurity between them, but that's not my problem haha.
I also think the glaring similarities (yet many dissimilarities) this show had to What's Wrong With Secretary Kim just made it impossible for me to like this show, and that's just what it is. WWWSK is the PINNACLE of rom-com for me, and I HIGHLY recommend everyone to give it a try too. I think it's extremely important to mention that it is my parent's favourite show too, and they've seen a lot of Korean dramas at this point.
I think the show maybe could've been good if it wasn't for Park Min Young's over-acting and strutting around in heels and formal-wear while making incorrect and cowardly choices throughout the show, and also a different male lead, among countless other things, but that's just me. The only good thing about the show was Kwon Hae Hyo, the wonderful Director, who I will always remember as Brian from Search WWW, the best boss in Kdrama history.
EDIT: OH and one of the WORST female lead's mothers in Kdrama history lol, that woman was manipulative, suffocating, selfish, self-centered, and thoughtless to the MAX. I like that actress though. Also one of the worst fathers too.
