Haha, I am definitely going to watch it subbed instead of dubbed, can’t believe it,s been 9 months already, that’s gone fast this was probably one of my first shows I tried as I really liked Seo Hyun Jin in The Beauty Inside I watched a few of her shows together. Just want to finish a few I’m mid way through then will go back to it, it has a 8/10 rating so can’t be too bad

Was thinking that at 1st until I looked at the dates, Married 2005 kid 2006, last role 2000 she seemed that she was quite famous.
Going off info looks like something happened personally between 2000-02 called off engagement etc.
I want to try her work but oldest Asian show I've watched so far is 2009 and that was dated felt like an American 80's show somehow.

The rich girl liking him yeah bit of reach other than him coming across as outwardly nice to outsiders.
And yes he defends her against his family after 6 years he defended her that was the point he never before, he was embarrassed to be with, he wasn't happy with what they had or that she was happy how they were living as she loved him, he wanted more.

Morally speaking he was outwardly to outsiders, but if you think he was to Sol Hee your insane. If he was good to her then there wouldn't have been any story for them.

Yes, he never cheated.
But sure as hell, didn't treat her appropriately, especially in public. All relationships don't break down because of cheating.
Also, I'm aware she agreed to it, it's not like people don't agree to things when they shouldn't for the benefit of the other person, be it for being blindly in love or a weaker partner (family background, education, earnings, being a woman).

Joo Man was terrible he was no better than Moo Bin just better at hiding, am only on episode 11, although he hasn't cheated everything he does is practically a slap in the face to Sol Hee, hidden relationship, not telling intern he has a GF or maintaining boundaries knowing she likes him, lying to Seol Hee about her etc.

This is the 2nd show I've seen with Song ha yoon in after "Marry my Husband" and am surprised I like her everytime she's on screen in that I want someone to hurt her lol, In this I just want to yell at her dump the arse of a BF and live for yourself damm.

2ML is an assh*le and seriously 2, not just 1, 2 beautiful women are after him he is average at best he's an Asian me lol He acts all sweet and polite but his actions especially hiding his gf as well as all the lying about the intern, and not telling the intern he has a GF straight away red flags, SFL is 10x better than him. Only on episode 11 but I've seen enough to dislike the fake nice guy he's just another Moo Bin just has less money.

Every time I watch the shows with the reverse age gap ML nearly 20 years older, with a happy ending, I am like ok then in reality 5 years later (Likely less) that relationship is ending in a mess likely infidelity .

Is this comparable to SK's Agency or Why Her?

Yep, I really like that show, but perfect example of what OP was talking about.

Finished both now and I agree Fireworks is much better than this, I still enjoyed this but Fireworks the chemistry is better between the leads. The SML in both were pointless and could have been left out they were both only love rivals to the ML in their own minds.

Originally I was moaning about this until I thought about it (After watching I was moaning before watching it all) and yes he was at fault same as her but as he points out later in the series couples argue and say they never want to see each other again only to make up again. She then without even challenging him, arguing or anything leaves the country (True she thought it was only a few days) I mean from them being all lovey dovey that morning to him never wanting to speak or see hear from her again when nothing happened, and she just takes that and leaves. As well as that she never contacts anyone for 7 years even if she didn't want to contact him, she never writes/calls or emails her best friend who could have sorted it our as well.

So in short yes they are both at fault but after watching the show in full I would say the 7 year separation is most definitely her fault as well as her father's obviously.
She knew were he was and her friends and never tries to make contact, they on the other hand only knew what country she was in.

Finished it, I didn't find it dragged, there's no unnecessary drama, except for what happened in the flashbacks, which are covered with little details and quite fast. Although that did cause me problems as quite a lot of information was left out, that I preferably would have like to have instead of the same scene from college in 3 seperate episodes.
SML doesn't exist other than his imagination, FL barely saw him as a friend. Would have liked to see what happened to him and his ex.

Overall I gave it an 8 out 10 which for me is average, I wouldn't rewatch it.

Fl's hair why I mean my eyes, I could put up with tops they had her wear, but not that atrocity of a hairstyle.

Also why the different actors Wasn't it just 7 years, they could have used the same actors for college scenes and present day. And why the age gap between the actors 9 years between leads should be 1, and 2ML should be the same age as the ex-girlfriend but it's almost a 20-year gap lol.

Other than above I am enjoying it 20 episodes in all good, won't win an oscar but it's entertaining enough, although I won't rewatch after finishing it.

I actually never like the 2ML from Episode 1 lol
