Though it's puzzling to me that she didn't just hire a tutor to teach her after she got married. For 6 years, before her in laws discovered her illegal activities, it seemed like she was left to do as she pleased and could've learnt to read/write if she truly wanted to

I would've felt sorry for her if she wasn't so unnecessarily cruel to the female servants in her household. She acts like she's been dealt the worst possible hand in life. But in reality, the servants under her have it way worse. Yet instead of using her position of influence to improve their lives, she very causally ruins their lives. But it's a credit to the actress that she portrays a complex character who is cruel but also has softer moments where she's vulnerable and almost pitiful

Me too. I cried watching Episode 1, thinking of the real life women in that past era who went through that

The trajectory from idol-fan dynamic to a romantic relationship just does not seem believable in this drama. They hardly know each other, outside of her being a special fan. I wish they had decided to hang out as friends first and get to truly know/ understand each other first

Too many plot holes. For example, FL discovers her other name, the one she regularly used before amnesia, but she doesn't even do a search for that name online to find info about herself or previous social media accounts.

I don't think the storyline is a 10. In my opinion, the plot/storyline is easily the weakest part of this drama

Same here. I like both leads but the drama is missing a certain spark. Feels very bland so far

The plot seems loosely inspired by the Brothers Home scandal in South Korea, where people were rounded up from the streets and taken to shelters ahead of the Olympics games in the 80s. The accounts of the survivors of these shelters, some of whom were children at the time, are the stuff of nightmares

That explains why the supporting characters have very limited screentime. And it always felt like some scenes featuring supporting cast were edited out. I feel sad for the actors/crew who put a lot of effort in scenes that were eventually cut in editing

I think they using the cliche trope where the FL is extremely naive and clueless, and has no idea how to navigate romance and potential entanglements

But honestly Seri's reaction felt very exaggerated. It's like she saw it as a juicy bit of gossip, with no genuine concern for Dr.Han

It feels like the writer added his character as an afterthought. Very minimal screentime or character development

What those 2 'friends' did was so inappropriate. They created so many problems by overstepping and using a work event for this

I really enjoyed episode 14. It was slow-paced but also very heartfelt/heartwarming. They really showed the human side of some of the family members on both sides

I thought I was the only one who skips ML and FL parts. Am not feeling their romance at all. Aunt and uncle are my favorite sub-plot right now. And Eunbin-Woojae sub-plot feels sooo outdated to me (reminds me of 2010s dramas where the FL would be chasing/stalking uninterested ML)

Actually, part of the problem is that the FL seems to like the SML and doesn't set boundaries with him at all!!
