This is an atrocity. Love both leads but... its like I am watching mother and son and then I am like.. oh... what... they are a couple??? I can suspend disbelief but wow this should be tagged fantasy.

That's what tragedies are made of no? That one decisive moment in time. And yes you hit on another one of my big issues... LXZ doesn't suffer. So there is no cosmic justice and I have no closure. I loved many things about this drama but wow..... who wants to be good person after watching this???

Lmao...not a regular romance watcher even though I do appreciate good kiss scenes (few and far between) I just wanted to put some stuff out there so that we have a benchmark to evaluate F&E kisses against. But happy to defer to veteran viewers like yourself wrt what is the gold standard of a good kiss...

Yes indeed, there are 20 more episodes where he can show us so I am not knocking it at all but the writer has to bring it all together (which I hope they can).

I am still sitting on the fence on this. In the novel, I couldn't relate to Shiyi and I also didn't like ZSC. So far I like them both a lot more than the novel, especially wrt their relationship with each other. Its much more healthy.. My only problem with ZSC so far is I don't see much of the ZSC of the past like he is not even the same person.
