Who are you to dictate that people HAVE to watch the whole thing before rating it? I have rated plenty of dramas I decided to drop - yes especially while airing. Why do I have to be forced to wait till its done airing to rate it??? If I drop, I won't be back. And as long as I watched enough episodes to have an opinion, I feel entitled to rate it. How I and other users of this site choose to rate dramas is NONE of YOUR business. Don't know why people get such a big kick out of trying to police other people. Get a life - do your own thing and let others do their thing. Read this a few times because if anyone doesn't get the message that is YOU.

No offense meant but WRTW the FL fights with her sleeves while the ML just stands around. I can’t help but laugh that is so totally NOT a wuxia but a parody that can’t believe it’s “action” scenes are even worthy of comparison.

She may have did a fair bit of wire work herself that is not super hard many actors can pull it off. But in many of the close up and fast moving continuous shots its very obvious she used a body double. I don't have any issue with that - those are hard scenes if she can't do them, no need to endanger herself.

If you think Chinese producers even know, much less care about MDL you are totally disconnected with reality.

I don't understand why so many people care so much about this. I personally never review anything until I am done watching and have had some time to think about the drama. But I think its perfectly ok to write first impression reviews which is what I think those are. Have confidence that anyone that reads them at this point is SMART enough to know its just a first impression review. People have the right to share their first impressions if they want to. If you don't want to read them then DON'T but LEAVE THEM ALONE. Because some of them are actually fairly well written and helpful. I don't mind them at all. Its a free world - live and let live.👍👍👍

And if any change is needed, MDL should tag those as First Impression Reviews.

The plot has to do with Taizong emperor's ascent; allegedly by murdering his brother Taizu. Enemy kingdom Western Xia is using "evidence" of this to destabilize the empire. Xiangyang Wang is the mastermind. Zhan Zhao is tasked to uncover all the people involved in this conspiracy. Seems quite a straightforward plot to me.

Yeah its quite obvious its a body double but the action scenes here are really intense and difficult. I can't think of any other female c-drama actresses who can pull them off either. So I am not that fussed about it.
