Because he beats the crap out of Ruojin. Until he is black and blue. And then tells him off as well. He says something like you have 3000 concubines, but my brother only loves this one woman. Your brother can even let you have the throne. Why can't you let my brother have one woman? Its very unsatisfying to have cut this part out. It is among the best lines and parts of the novel.

She is actually supposed to be 6 years older than BDJ. And by the time all this ends, BDJ was 29. The issue is when they met when he was 15, she said she will only meet him again when he became famous. He was 25 when that happened. So in the book they only met for 4 years till the end of the novel. The drama introduces her much earlier so it feels like its a very long courtship but it wasn't.

I think his death was also related to the alleged Langya wang revolt which takes place 4 years before the start of TBOY and about 8 years after DY ends. At the end of DY, LMS should still be alive (unless they change it in the drama).

I think comedy is hard and is something that not all actors, even good ones can pull off well. And unfortunately I think its not something that comes that easily to ZWY so sometimes his facial expressions are off or he comes off as trying too hard. But Chinese audiences praise him highly bc he has a pretty impressive repertoire of complicated roles and his line delivery is good. I don't even have to read subs to follow his dialogues. Whereas a Cheng Yi for example mumbles or bites off words so I have to glance at the subs when he is not dubbed. And while WCR seems to be more natural in her scenes here, her lines don't match her lip movement. I can tell she isn't the one speaking. Its kind of low key annoying. I think its a bit of a different watching experience when you understand the language.

No there are tons of Chinese webnovel sites online. And Amazon kindle also has Chinese books I have bought them there too. You can check QQReading, Qidian etc but they are paid. There are free sites as well online. Just google Chinese webnovel sites. I don't like to read online I stick to real books or kindle books so I don't know which sites are good but I know there are lots of them.

Yeah there are lots of collections of short strange stories. I think the classic collection Strange Tales from Liaozhai should be translated into English. I don't think this writer's books have been translated though.

You are mixing him up with Mo Chen or Mo Xiaohei from the Mo Sect who is the 5th disciple of LCS and one of the 8 Beili Gongzi.
