Xiao Se and Xiao Yu are born around 17th Taihe year. YWJ is pregnant with Wuxin and about to give birth in the 3rd Mingde Year. So Wuxin should be at least 4 years younger than Xiao Yu and Xiao Se.

Yes and she makes him wait 10 years until he is 25 and becomes famous to "meet" her as YY. They just sped up all that in the drama, which I think is good bc otherwise everyone will be ranting where is the FL. But its also why YQ is so annoying. She doesn't pop up until much later either so many of her early scenes are written by the screenwriter and not the novelist. All this explains why the timeline and how quickly BDJ powers up at the beginning is a bit mucked up.

Yeah I think its mostly small stuff that happened bc he wrote the prequel later and didn't plot out the details properly beforehand. Maybe he never intended to write the prequel.
