Well it looks like the sixth prince is a smart kid who plays dumb to survive. And he is unfavored, the son of a maid and considered bad luck. He is probably viewed as no threat even if he gets what is going on.

Ah ok, the mincing high pitched voice does suggest a eunuch. I don't hear him talking like that when he is with prince Xian though. Nonetheless I think the first prince is not mad or the fact that he is insane is too convenient.

I think prince Xian is also scheming for sure but I think the hooded figure is the eldest prince who is not really insane, I suspect Sixth prince will expose him bc he was banished to live in the eldest prince's palace and the boy is not as dumb as they think he is. He must see the comings and goings...

Yeah I think his part of the story is over so they just kind of exit left staged him. I guess it glosses over that his own son got him killed. The emperor never was 100pct sure of he masterminded the failed revolt until his nephew put all the pieces together for him.

He has to be the allegedly insane eldest prince. Pretending to be mad and living in isolation in the cold plalace conspiring against the emperor with no eyes on him.

Of course, the badger eyed cheeky Ning Cheng was one of my fav characters. I liked him as much a Gu Nanyi!

Heheh.... yes I rarely watch that kind of youth romance but I think the pairing was amazing and from what I skimmed through I think it deserved its popularity.

Yeah and she had really strong chemistry with Chen Xingxu as well. Not my kind of show at all but I think I watched more than half of it before bailing. Been waiting for a costume drama from her ever since. I even watched a bunch of Lighter & Princess bc of her.

I have to admit I watched way many episodes of Fall in Love than I wanted to bc of her!

Yes and ADOS does have more action but its not harem/extended family focused.
