All fantastic insights my friend - that dancing subplot was just ridiculous! I would be super disappointed if Liu Xueyi works with her again; he is so talented he really needs to collaborate with actors that if nothing else put heart into their performances.

Yeah I can tell from how he interprets his roles that he is quite a smart person. Hopefully he picks good scripts for himself going forward bc he is increasingly being cast in lead roles.

I think they left the possibility open but Youku is really bad at folkow up seasons. And Liu Xueyi and Ju Jingyi both got noticed for opposite reasons. He would be stupid to agree to another project with her when he can team up with someone up and coming like Lu Yuxiao or Zhou Ye instead.

There is always a prince or two that could be trying to gain power but colluding with an enemy state that wants to conquer your country leaving you nothing to inherit doesn't make them smart villains. Those kinds of political stories (ie Wonderland of Love) written by bad writers are not super interesting. So hopefully they don't go down that path.
