No that is normal. Every time you draw a card you have to discard one. She just didn’t want the card she drew and discarded it. Unless you drew the winning card that completes your hand and that is when you reveal all your cards to win.

So does my 90 year old aunt. But her group is vicious - got to play fast and if you discard the wrong card and someone wins you will get the scolding of your life. They scare me. Whenever I have to sit in for one of them I break out in cold sweat.

Could be but I didn't notice I was too busy laughing at Xingzhi and Mdm Jin.

I don't mind long dramas if there is enough content to support it but most of the time it is a lot of filler flashbacks.

I haven't rated anything 10 in years. I think Minglan is a much better written drama for sure but it was too long and I didn't enjoy it that much so I didn't rate it highly.

I think its fine. Its shown on top how many episodes watched the review is based on. So readers are able to weigh the review accurately. I just take these as first impression reviews, which some people find helpful. What makes zero sense is forcing someone to watch a 39 episode drama they don't like just so they can write a review. And there is no way to regulate it anyway bc they can just lie and say they completed it. Which would be worse as the overall ratings are weighted by episodes watched.

啊/A is just a casual way to call someone you are familiar with - doesn't have to be a lover it can also be a friend or family member. So Shen Li's given name is Li, he is just calling her 啊/A Li. She can just as easily call him A Zhi or in the mortal realm A Yun.
