I think YWS wanted to go back bc she has unfinished business with Wufeng and she didn't want to involve Ziyu. She probably gave him some false assurances - that boy still has lots to learn. 🤦🏻♀️ The bro's half gloating yap was a bit much - it is one reason why Agatha Christie just never works quite as well on film.
