I was planning on starting this in like November when Part 2 is about to air... but then that diabolical @Kumaxel keeps spamming the thread with these illegal screenshots of Tan Jianci that made me cave like an avalanche...😤😂😂😂
Agreed with PeachBlossomGoddess, the ex moved on 10 years ago with Zijin. Before he disappeared, she left him…
Yeah I think he was a very self absorbed character. He may have loved her but not enough - he kind of just took her for granted and let her chase him all the time. If she was really the one for him, he'd have been chasing her all the time.
Anyone not liking Chen Du Ling's character because of her role in Till The End of the Moon get over yourself and…
She was terrible in TTEOM but she is doing a lot better here although still with rough edges IMHO but at least she doesn't really annoy me. I feel kind of sorry for her.
The parting between Xiangyi and A'mian left me confused about what to feel. Unfortunately, they were not part…
Xiangyi is dying. He is setting A'iman free bc her heart already moved on ten years ago but her guilt is stopping her from being with Zijin. Old Xiangyi was kind of an asshole - one of those exhausting types who is all about himself.
I thought Cheng Yi's dubber will grow on me as the show progresses, but man, I increasingly disliked it more and…
I have never been a fan of Cheng Yi's voice or his line delivery so I get what you mean - his tone is very sharp and sounds quarrelsome. That said he has improved markedly here relative to Draw the Line, which he pretty much squeaked through so he is getting better as he goes along,
He is supposed to be a parody character - his name Fang Duo Bing/方多病 can actually mean he is the plague…
No worries - I skipped him bc the pun intended is less obvious but I guess its still fitting in that he becomes famous by defeating the no 1 swordsman Li Xiangyi and then becomes stagnant after that??? 😅😂

It's a lot less interesting - As written 笛飞声 is just the fluttering sound of a bamboo flute. But Feisheng is also a homonym for becoming famous 蜚声 or soaring飞升 or nonproductive 非生.
