Tell me what damage LZS has done so far. Bad boy
He magically appears where he should not be to help the weak Fan Yu seize the throne.

He waltzed into the emperor's bedchambers no less when he was barely dead. That's just nonsense. It's not a fish market where anyone can just hang out and wait for someone to die. Its just really lazy writing.

This is ridiculous. Wasn't LZS effectively banished? How can he waltz in and out of the palace like that and even confer edicts of the previous emperor. What kind of nonsensical writing is this?

That's not his real voice, right? Sounds a bit like WKX in WoH. Love his smiles and all!
No the only actor dubbing themself is Liu Yuning.

i see ppl complaining about the dubbing but im fine with both leads dub it doesnt bother me, i too would be bothered…
Well it'd be better if Dilraba dubbed herself bc she is good enough but at least they used a different voice actor for her.

Title The Lost 11th Floor Spoiler
8000 heat index cross
Lol... well I haven't gone over Douban comments bc I am behind and don't want to be spoiled but I think its way too early to call the rating. It can still go wrong in so many ways...My biggest issue so far is how so many people could have died in that missing shaft with no explanation and no family members looking for them. Its kind of impossible in China where houku is so tightly managed. Maybe 1 or 2 people yes but lots of people, no. Otherwise I think the holes are just mostly small stuff.

Douban viewers tend to be very picky about plot holes, esp for this kind of genre. And even though I think this is pretty good so far but I have to admit there are some quite big plot holes.

I didn't like Hao Chen but I enjoyed his villainy. I always enjoy well played villains a lot better than good characters. I don't think his character here is that well written. It may have more layers in the book but its not well adapted here.

Hao Chen was the only reason I didn't drop L&R. I didn't like the CP that much. There was too much blood spitting and Xuanji never got smarter even after she got all her missing senses back.

I belive they were all adopted and their so called father is their foster father.
Could be I am still in the early episodes I haven't seen the dad yet. I just know the brothers are not biological.

It's a terrific drama but no subs and slow airing schedule. Its 8.5 on Douban.
There are ways to get around that, many dramas have time travel elements now. It may be harder if itโ€™s a higher profile drama which this is not.

I wonder why iqiyi didnโ€™t provide any express or fast track package
Tencent has tons more money and the long form video business is just a loss leader for their much bigger digital advertising and PC and mobile game businesses. Those businesses generate over rmb 50bn in gross profit a quarter, more when the economy was better vs the RMB 1 bn a quarter they lose in the dramas. They pay lots for the biggest idol actors and invest a lot of young adult dramas that are related to gaming bc that is their biggest subscriber base. These users are fickle and they donโ€™t have a lot of money left to spend on dramas after all they spend on the games but big brand advertisers target them as part of their overall future brand indoctrination efforts. Iqiyi only does dramas and goes after the adult market that is more stable, less price sensitive and are less idol oriented viewers. Their one year revenue is only half of Tencent's gross profit in one quarter. They can't afford to pay top actors that much they have to try to break even every quarter.

I haven't started this yet, but I'm curious to know, has it been explained why it's called the lost 11th floor?…
I think they are talking about a mine levels - i.e, there were 11 levels in that mine but they claim there were only 10. They technically probably really mean ็Ÿฟๅฑ‚ or mine level rather than ๅฑ‚ floor. The concept is similar except in an underground mine they sink a shaft going down and then mine at different horizontal levels that are like floors. I believe they may have reported the mine had one less level than it really did and bad stuff happened on that missing floor.
