So the question is whether that is enough to fool NGF. If Yanan manages to kill off NGF it won't be an issue bc I think Prince Fu is not the details guy so he won't look hard at them.

I must have missed that part - are you sure he didn't say that is the ailing emperor's age? My guess is Prince Fu in the drama is at most 50. The real life character Prince Fu was based on died at age 44 and he had 4 sons. I don't like this kind of lazy writing in this drama. I think they wrote him to only have a daughter to hide the identity and rebellion plot from revealing itself too early to viewers. The problem with that is it just makes his motive very unconvincing. He is a very poor villain in that sense.

I don't think their relationship is evolved enough at this late stage for them to end up together. Either everyone dies or Yuntai and Yannan ride off into the sunset together.

I don't see how Yuntai or Lingyuan sect survives. They rebelled - it is high treason. If they are lucky Yuntai will only be disbanded but more likely everyone will be executed as well. The Ming emperors were particularly cruel. Rebels were killed by slow slicing down to 9 generations.

The only way Mingzhu survives her father's rebellion is if she goes into hiding and lives on the run.
