Well clearly iQiyi's initial strategy was to let him lie low for awhile and then air it quietly. They didn't expect the comedy fiasco. Maybe if they push it out 6 months or so when this dies down they can just go ahead as planned without modifying much. After all the actor does not seem to be cancelled exactly.
