idk, I'd normally agree, but in the case of the scenes we've seen thus far, I do feel like it pushes the narrative…
I can definitely see that in the case of He Zhaojun and I do like that in the end the girls sorted it out between each other. As for many of the others it is getting repetitive and LBY is becoming stifling but I am glad CSS thinks so too.
in episode 28 preview and also in the drama teaser -when she enters the place, we see her getting bullied again…
It was an interesting scene bc for the first time she is revealing her true colours. She is a defiant and wilful person who does not want to be managed or obedient or in any way unequal with her husband. She is dejected bc she realises he may be tougher evade than her mother. In that sense she vastly preferred Lou Yao.
As for the palace and the mean bully girls, I can only sigh. That is a horse that has been beat to death and each additional mean girl scene gets less and less funny and more and more noisy as we go along.
I hope we are done with all the mean girl scenes bc I am getting really tired of them and idk... I just really don't enjoy watching men telling women off, even when its LBY. I prefer to watch Shaoshang stand up for herself.
I normally like Zhang Zifeng a lot but I think she was mis-cast in this role. Her acting seems forced, she comes off as morose and she has no chemistry with Lei Jiayin.
I didn't think Cheng Yi was that hot in L&R. Maybe I was too distracted by all those hair rising Sifeng shrieks.But wow in this one I am literally ogling him in every scene.
