Its not worth translating. Yet another gossipy low value added article about what a huge hit ADOS has been and how its earned CNY670mm in ad revenue to date with short ad slot prices increasing at rapid pace. It rants incoherently and with no evidence about how Liu Yifei haters and black fans are supposedly being paid to push down the rating that has fallen from 8.8 to 8.5, which is now below that of Ordinary Greatness at 8.6. IMHO they are both fantastic dramas but how the rating of both dramas have moved are fair and as I had expected given how the plots have unfolded and should not be blamed on water armies etc.

Yeah I also noticed that two of them popped up in the latest Heroes episodes. I am looking for other things to watch and was browsing for other Wen Ruian adaptations when I saw it and noticed Yang Yang was in it. I actually quite like all 4 actors.

Could be, idk bc I didn't read them I just know there are many constable stories. I would also dump the last 6 books in the Constables bucket as well but maybe it is their individual backstories or like a prequel before they started to work together as a team of 4.

Nice, I like your idea a lot that SMZ live on as a legend to inspire. But I think in that last episode SMZ was begging BCF to test him and find out if there is anything human left there and the answer was NOPE. I think he will recuperate and then return with WXS and/or the advisor to take out BCF. That must be the final fight. But if it looks like he will lose, he wants to advisor to kill him and not let BCF do it bc BCF is not qualified to be the one to kill SMZ. Otherwise that conversation with the advisor sounds very strange and would be a loose thread. I was actually already expecting the advisor to pop out of the woodwork somewhere to kill SMZ in last night's episode before BCF could do it.

The Heroes series has 10 books but only the first 4 or 5 are about this drama's main characters. After that it is about Marquis Zhuge and the heroes around him which include his 4 main disciples. They also have their own series which is Four Constables which has another 5 or 6 novels. They are considered related series. Even my dad who reads a lot of wuxia didn't finish them all. This writer is quite long winded and the stories overlap and go off tangents and can be contradicting each other like in the case of who was LC's attacker. My dad got bored with them saying his writing became very crazy and not always coherent. There are many movie and drama adaptations about The Four Constables stories bc its kind of like detective or about cases that they solve so you can have many different versions.

She turned the ML into a bat shit crazy puny sized incredible hulk killing machine. Sigh! I didn't realize until I went to make note of this screenwriter for my no list. She is obviously unrepentant after getting trashed for Eagleflag and having not many jobs of note since.

They are obvious scriptwriter creations. She is the same jerk that turned the ML in Novoland EagleFlag into a raving lunatic, destroying that drama as well. The parallels with what she did to BCF are uncanny. Had I realized it was THAT asshole writer I would have waited till after this was done airing to decide whether to watch.

They are loose ends.

Nah he is already doomed they are riding with evidence of his treason to the emperor. The only thing that can salvage it is if BCF suddenly turns around and skewers him with his sword. Teach him a lesson for trying to keep a rabid dog as his pet. But that’s unlikely it is obvious the final showdown is between the 3 brothers.

Seems low chance. Apparently the scriptwriter got into a quarrel with the production.

Haven’t heard of a S2 and even if they do it the cast should be completely different.

Heroes is about the first four books. There are another 4-6 books after that about the Four Constables. That has been made many times most recently in 2015. It’s about pretty much all different characters.

Who cares about the chancellor? He can’t fight so it will be the lamest takedown.

Yeah as far as wuxias go it’s a much better plot than WOH which deviated too much into the relationship.
