Title Heroes
Either the economy is hurting their sales or they are trying to make a play for IQIYI since that is on sale right…
Tencent did try to buy it before but after the regulatory crackdown they are unlikely to be allowed to do it. I really hope they don't bc iQiyi has finally started to make really good, high quality dramas whereas outside of ADOS Tencent still ruins most IPs that it touches. This one is a shinning example.

This is more of a character drama so if you are waiting for much plot movement you are probably going to be disappointed.…
Lol... sadly there are not many of those. The likes of Wang Juan are booked solid for years...

She seems to really like ADOS since she’s making videos on it.
Yours are better.

Did anyone notice Chi saying “Xiao” when he saw GQF? It seems like Chi might know his family background…
I also suspect Chi definitely knows his family background. But GQF just hid behind the homonym and glossed it over.

Song of Youth is really just a reinterpretation of Hung Luo Meng which is a vast book and one of the Four Ancient Chinese classics. It had much stronger IP behind it as a source of ideas and inspiration not to mention classic lines. This was originally no more than a four part play.

He is stewed. He is bound to be exposed at that birthday party that SYZ is also going to be at.

When I started watching this, I didn't realize this would be so heavily focused on romance. And I'm a little disappointed.…
This is more of a character drama so if you are waiting for much plot movement you are probably going to be disappointed. Its a bit like Red Mansions and the more recent Song of Youth in that it is social commentary but more focused on the struggles of women, especially fallen women during Song Dynasty. The romance is the only real hook. There is no strong IP to back it the original play was pretty much the Zhou She arc. The screenwriter is not bad but not of the caliber capable of delivering a super strong original plot on her own.

So glad Gu Qian Fan was honest about SYZ 's piece, that's what she needs. He did it to protect her so she could…
Or he realized that SYZ has a crush on him when Pan’er innocently commented that he also rescued SYZ why she seems to have fallen for SrZ and no t him. He probably knew she just needed practice and would get her act together before the event but saw an opportunity to discourage her to avoid a train wreck later on when she finds out about his relationship with Pan’er.

I have a hunch the song he gave her to play will cause a stir. He is setting her up. She is always so spaced out.…
I think she was over eager to impress Qianfan and played it for him before she was ready. And I think Qianfan cares more about his dad than he will admit. He has impossibly high expectations for how that score will be played. He gifted it to Yinzhang to please his dad and is not satisfied with her effort.

I think Kris Sun is the new Lo Lieh. Guy is always given those creepy, shady up-to-no-good roles 😅
Pretty sure he is a bad guy.

The first emperor of China Qin Shihuangdi banned Confucianism and burned the scholars in favour of Legalism. To…
Most believe America was the first egalitarian meritocracy. But in truth, China's imperial exam system gave equal opportunity for those with talent and ambition to rise in society and better themselves thousands of years earlier.
The first two Song emperors were conquerors but the subsequent Song emperors were capable administrators. Society needed more scholarly administrators than warlords and generals who wanted to be kings of their own fiefdoms. Their incentive is always to rebel if they can be more powerful. It doesn't have much to do with Confucianism. The same thing happened in many dynasties. Even as early as Cao Wei, Cao Pi shifted power away from his own clan who were warlords in favour of scholars who could be administrators and policymakers. This was even though it was still three kingdoms period and they were still at war with Shu and Wu.
