Yeah you know gaokao or university entrance exams start around June 7-8 this year. It is super important the platforms tiptoe around being accused of distracting students after the massive fines and flak they got last year for gaming addiction for under 18 year olds.... After that I think there are possibilities but maybe not until school holidays.

It is really an excellent drama if you are looking for something to watch you may want to check it out. The chemistry between the leads is HOT.

Having said that, Tencent has a huge pipeline this year and everyone is rushing dramas out bc many people are staying at home bc of covid resurgence. So they may just drop everything on us at once but I think that is something that is more likely to happen say during school holidays from July 15th.

I think its less likely bc Tencent is airing another period drama the other 4 nights of the week. It is not impossible though I wouldn't put high hopes.

It is not just the color palette. The actors are so relaxed and have natural body language when they are confiding in each other. Especially that boat scene where she is hugging something and he is also in a relaxed pose. It says so much about how at ease they are with each other instead of sitting stiffly across each other and trying to hold correct posture and suck their stomachs in.

Yeah that's what's great about older actors. They are not so shy they don't dare to look at each other passionately.

Everyone is worried about Yinzhang's potential designs on Gu Qianfan but I think she already met her true, ahem soul mate...

It was a generic throwaway comment that is not at all personal to the actor. You just did to me what you are chastising others there for and what you have done is cyber bullying which you admit to being proud of, Good for you.

You obviously can’t read. I have only commented on her pouting and have declined to watch her cry bc I find the idea distasteful. If that bothers you and you want to rant about it I hope you feel better now. Personally attacking me for it is a form of cyber bullying and that is also what you are trying to do to other viewers. Respectfully it doesn’t just mean that and it has nothing to do with her voice pitch. Zhang Ziyi has high pitch but her line delivery is very good. It is about how much emotion and emphasis is put into words, the ability on pause at the right moments and modify pitch as needed. The voice part of acting is a critical part of a well rounded actors arsenal. In other parts of the world that don’t use dubbing many of these so called actors would not qualify as such.

Yeah and she is a proper actor, one that excels at line delivery. Outside of Liu Yifei, everyone else over relies on dubbing and they can’t even be bothered to dub themselves. I don’t really consider any of them proper actors. Yang Mi is the most disappointing in that regard. For the veteran that she is, her line delivery is appalling. I say this even though Bai Qian is one of my favorite characters and IMHO her best role.
