Yeah and the final product is so so enjoyable without all of those tiresome and chauvinistic tropes. I am so proud of this production. It really should be how to required watching for film school students going forward.

Listen if the sword chooses the girl it don’t need to be magical it’s just gotta have good taste. Swords should just focus on killing bad guys and not mess with anything else.

This is why I love talking to you it all becomes clear. So I did already start Growling Tiger but I don’t like Cao Rui actor so I lost momentum. I think I will just review AA in case I don’t complete Growling Tiger. As for Qin 2 I will try to finish it soon now that earnings season are over for me just bc I am historical out it may be a year or two before I start Qin 1 or Qin3. I hear they are now all on Netflix but I haven’t checked whether that is true in my region.

I actually was hoping she would get together with SMZ. It would be a much easier relationship and kill the LC SMZ Romeo and Juliet trope. I enjoy her chemistry with WXS but he is just way too young for her. Besides WXS silly sword already bonded with WR. Ridiculous - a sword chooses your girl!!!

I think Fang Yingkan and BCF are two main villains. There should be another one at the top of Youqiao group as well, likely Yingkan foster father. There is power struggle within Youqiao. He is trying to be one of the elders of Youqiao but in order to do so he has to either unseat Fu Zhongshu or Lei Sun. It comes up in conversation in one of the last two episodes.
It is hilarious how Tencent releases the Douban rating immediately when it is a high score and how they just sit on it,(i.e WTRW) until well after it finishes airing when it is a low score.
