Title The Blue Whisper: Part 2 Spoiler
I’ve gotten a couple of people asking me about whether it’s a HE on the FMV I made for this drama. At this…
Well when people watch the drama later on they may come back and tell you that its misleading, depending on how they view the ending. But since it is a FMV it is up to you how you want to present it so if you feel you should, then go for it.

Rules of The World:

#1 Falling down a steep cliff does not result in death
#2 Bai always precedes Hei - it is just the natural order of things
#3 Food has no calories and should be consumed at every opportunity
#4 When bad guys try to kill your love rival, let them
#5 The sleeve and the fan are mightier than the sword
#6 Don't bother with blankets, just use body heat
#7 Hand made noodles will unlock his life story
#8 Must have at least one bad parent and imaginary cousins
#9 The timely ankle twist is a more important skill than showy gravity defying flying kicks
#10 Must have strong piggy back and copious blood factory
#11 Never hold hands with just any girl in the streets, only that one girl
#12 You don't draw that well, she just looks that good
#13 Be greedy when it comes to food and all four elegant gentlemen
#14 Funerals are for dead people and not those you wish dead
#15 To eat or to Hei Fengxi, that is the question?
#16 Heaven hath no thunder greater than that of a long dead queen
#17 Be known by a dark foxy stripper 名号/name
#18 Surprise - they met when they were kids!

To be Continued...

I have been watching dramas with subtitles for over ten years now and this is the first time I'm really struggling…
It’s not the subtitles I am not using them and I have to stop to take notes or rewind to figure out character alliances etc as well. There is just a lot going on and a lot of clues in the dialogue to keep track of.

A third is done and it is getting more interesting. The whole Siwencao is no match for Angelababy.
Wow you just made me want to drop this with that last sentence.

for some reason why does it feel like the protagonists are stupid and keep losing to the antagonists...
In history Shu lost to Wei. Yups. And as I was saying below - Zhuge Liang’s brilliance is oversold by history and never substantiated by the facts.

Many people are saying that the last scene was Chang Yi's dream, well that is impossible. If he was dreaming he…
This is an ending spoiler please cover it. I would think dreams do not have to be constrained by reality. That would be called reality.

No I really don't think you can compare these two actresses ZLS in WRTW is a much better fit for the FL in that…
I couldn’t agree more with this comment. I would add that if we swapped them for example they’d both just be miscast but they are both good actresses in both these dramas I am enjoying. Dilraba though has made a better effort to pick more diverse roles. Lusi has exceptional comedic timing and is super funny but she tends to favor such roles.

"Honestly I prefer " Ashes of Love" than this, although I'm big fans of Allen. "Stabbed in the heart.
Yes one of the most gorgeous period drama couples for sure. I would have loved to see the novel intensity!

This is the first Chen Kun's work I saw. Any recommendations from the comment section?
You can stop at episode 50 it is actually a natural place to stop. I keep on going bc I couldn’t get enough of Chen Kun and Ni Ni. And these unhelpful recaps are fun to watch.

I second that re TROP. It is flawed in many ways but IMHO it is Chen Kun's best role and my all time fav c-drama character. Lost in 1939 is also very good.

I saw that too but it just matches the Tencent translation in episode, which looks wrong to me. The Chinese words…
Don't worry, I checked it is wrong. The Chinese characters are 蜀汉潜伏间谍 which I believe the Tencent's translator meant to write A Shu spy lurking in the Wei State (~12:35 minutes in episode 1). I noticed it too bc it didn't match what I wrote in my own notes. I submitted an edit already, don't worry you were not spoiled.

OAO's language itself is intensely romantic - the prose is classic and beautiful using poems and metaphors with many layers of meaning. TWB is also very well written but it uses very modern phraseology. It is witty and the love lines are well written and romantic as well but not in the same way. The most beautiful and romantic lines I have seen though are still in Royal Nirvana by a wide margin. It makes a very strong chemistry without touch or romantic scene.

I read all the cast and cant believe that I just spoiled my self with who zhu long is🤦🏻‍♂️
I saw that too but it just matches the Tencent translation in episode, which looks wrong to me. The Chinese words say something else, I just don't remember what.

How is Chen Kun in this drama?... I am a total fan...
He is riveting as always. The drama is quite complex, you have to kind of take notes and keep track of who's who. Its not gonna be for everyone but I am happy to watch it.

Both roles were better roles for him. Unfortunately his character Chang Yi pretty much just walks around looking smoking hot and fights. All the interesting things are done by Lin Haoqing and Yunhe. My mom is the hard core Ren Jialun fan. She claims his best role was Glory of Tang. I generally enjoy his acting but I like too many actors just as much. I think his best chemistry was with Tan Songyun in UTP but I found One and Only more moving as a story. I would love to see him with Dilraba again but shot by Lin Yu Fen. I just think she is way better in capturing an OTP's chemistry in romantic dramas.
