Yeah I sense Liu Ling is not just some clingy airhead right? She seems to have psychological issues as well.
Wow that sounds just like the kind of story I would love! Thanks so much for explaining. I did think Liu Ling had PTSD or something from her mom's tragedy but that makes her so much more empathetic. I do still like her in the drama but I somehow admire Shijin more? And yes, their friendship is something else. Actually the only thing that made me a bit sad is the 4 of them can't always be together with each others backs bc of the idiot crown prince. Honestly I would have loved to see the Shens help her dad overthrow the asshole. In any case, I didn't dislike her at all just didn't have the full picture of her motives. It sounds like quite a bit of the the good stuff did survive in the drama. And as always just love your color, you are the best! ππππ
Agree with you some extent. There were so many things happened before shooting too..I heard that ML wants to change…
She/they are so stupid. They must have thought no one would notice bc different viewer base since that was so sad and the language is so classic and difficult to understand. In any case, I am not that worried it will affect the airing bc even if it is obvious, plagiarism takes time to prove. But later on, I hope they get sued for a huge amount of money and suffer repetitional loss...

I really like this drama so it makes me very sad to say this but it is very obvious to me that they plagiarized and dumbed down Royal Nirvana for the entire political side of the Yongzhou arc. The entire setup of the ruler's legitimate son vs the two illegitimate sons and his queen is identical except they swapped prince 1 and prince 3. It even gets into the sub-plots - both exam cheating and horse trading. And according to netizens even many lines which I did not compare, have been knocked off. As someone who watched and enjoyed Royal Nirvana, I suspected it even before the news exploded online. It is not just a vague similarity, it is unmistakable. That is why I have been very quiet. What makes me sad is that it is obvious they did not need to go in this direction, no one is really watching this for the political scheming anyway. Or if they are they are better off watching Royal Nirvana bc this is the dumbed down version where the enemy is very stupid. That one is not.
Interesting observationLanxi's father is listed as Prince Yong, and Ju and Chang's mother is listed as Queen of…
I tried to fix some of it but not all the edits were accepted. The person who put them in used Drama Wiki titles which uses Prince and doesn't match Tencent's titles. Tencent uses Lord for all of them which is more correct as they are feudal lords. King also would work but Prince is just confusing.
I think Huang Chao has had way to little screentime compared to the other supporting roles. And he is actually…
Yeah they swapped the first prince and the third prince and they made it less sad but otherwise its the same thing. But at least the emperor in RN had a good reason to treat his son so badly.

Yes I know, I am agreeing and adding that the palace politics is basically pretty much that show, which I already watched so its like watching the lite version all over again.
