I quite enjoyed watching it! Kinda sad to see many ppl not liking the show, I guess it depends on what type of…
I feel this drama viewing experience depends completely from the perspective one is viewing....those who wanted a detective, case investigation type of drama will not be as happy as the case investigation was very ususal..there was no sense of urgency, if someone is watching it hoping justice will hppen will be super disappointed, As the cases progressed I viewed this as female centric drama which gave a real exposé on female oppression and abuse by people in power and how they never get justice and it was realistic for me...
Loved the ending and Pei Yi getting her revenge in exact same way her father was framed and killed...and also she spoke what has been the question throughout the drama "she investigates cases, and uncovers the truth, but victims don't get justice"...finally someone called out this promiscous emperor...almost every case had someone he used and forgot
Can you, guys, give me recommendations for good cdramas like this one? I rarely watch cdramas, so dunno what's…

My thoughts: I thought that the FL was too ruthless. I mean I get that she wanted revenge but killing shouldn't…
Want to ask this...do you find it ruthless because it was the FL? Would you still have same opinion if it was ML? I have seen characters like Ling Buyi from LLTG, Chen Zhe Yaun's character from Fated Hearts who were completely ruthless celebrated.
I am not convinced with the Emperor...he seems to be hiding something. Him admonishing the Right Chancellor seemed more of a show than something genuine
Can anyone please clarify...is Pei Yi angry at emperor because he knows the mastermind and hasn't revealed it or because she doesn't know she can investigate the case as the eunuch said case is with the Judicial court and never mentioned the emperor explicitly saying 'let Pei Yi investigate it' ...why did the Eunuch specifically leave it out or did I miss something in the dialogues??
Still find it pretty annoying that every lead they find is dead before even finding them and then once they catch…
Yes..one of very negative points of this drama.. I found Pei Yu and her friend's death unnecessary...both could've been pardoned but a limit to their rise considering their actions stemmed from social stigma could have been a better resolution... Justice doesn't seem to really have been done
He played the role of father really well...supportive, patient...Glad to see another person remembering that drama😊
So true...very soothing drama it is...I still watch clips from that here and there...I watched only Love and Destiny for 5months continuously...I was so immersed in it at the time..
And yet when he stops her from killing the asshole responsible; she resents him and they break up. Like I get…
I had watched till episode 22 and assumed your comment to be about the incident where she holds her sword to his neck and she is not friendly towards him on their journey back...
And yet when he stops her from killing the asshole responsible; she resents him and they break up. Like I get…
I dont think she resents him...she initially doubted his father had a possible role in her family's massacre...but after the conversation with his father it became kre clearer to her...also I feel she feels guilty for putting his family in danger and doesn't wasn't to see anymore deaths for her
This looks like a set up for S2 Unveil series
