I like how she covers his eyes when ol' boy knifes himself. lol. Always so protective of her Star Bae.
It is their character description...he is a scholar and he has told multiple times he is not comfortable with sight of blood plus he doesnt know to fight, ..she is more martial artist type...
Was Li Pei Yi jealous of her younger self? 😄Also, second time Xiao Huai Jin noted that she is not a romantic....I…
I think she doesn't remember it is her...there have been mentions of her losing memory of the night if massacre and she keeps telling parts of it are coming back to her...not sure if she is pretending amnesia or if it is true
The recent case is interesting in the way they added the fengshui directions and star positions and heart breaking about women suffering in poor financial conditions.
People of Haiya never got their justice 🤨 not saying thatthe villian has to succeed in poisoning the innocent...at least acknowledgement of what had happened and something of that sort..
She is too self reliant...I can understand that at the beginning of the drama, but towards the ending when ML…
The writing is the one at fault as this is about a drama. She locked up the ML in her plantation cottage/place and went to marry Mr.Yan. As she doubted Mr.Yan's identity, she should have taken help from ML as that is his profession. Locking him up is a disrespct to his professional identity. ML helps FL deal with her issues wit guidance and support and not by taking over her business, he doesn't interfere in her thing beyond a good partner. Right in the intro it was said, Rongs were matrilineal but men were treated equally and with respect..here the ML was reduced to having to do all the work with respect to relationship and reduced to an almost obedient sidekick. And in other dramas, which I have watched, where MLs behaviour is toxic the comment section has always called it out and the justified/explained the toxic behavior when there has been a charcter growth/development. If ML lacked character development and continued with the toxic behavior I have seen the comment section call it out. (But this is based on each individual's experience and drama selection and time of engagement in comment section)
Ending is happy...I am not happy with the ending🤣🤣The whole arc seems unnecessary
He never had that family in 1st place..nothing of that was shown from before...and he has hus ambitions for law enforcement and justice...he shouldn't give that up, ever

For me it wasn't conditioning.. I enjoy independent powerful female roles but it shouldn't be hyper-independence..that becomes toxic.. If she had depended on ML related to tea business that would be weakening or making her dependant...her not taking help when dealing with Yan a fraud and a possible convict, which is law enforcement and ML's job shows her lack of trust or control issues not independance...she loosened with her sister and made her work in tea plantation and gradually helped her sister grow and developed better relationships with other sisters as well....would have liked to see extension of trust and inclusion of ML into her life on equal and respectful terms as well . The whole solving the case at Duke's mansion also was done by her...the writing reallybfailed the character...it is his job to investigate, solve and decide..she doesn’t need to take that on
Some people are calling the FL a red flag, but I’m genuinely confused. So far, I haven’t seen any reasonable…
She is too self reliant...I can understand that at the beginning of the drama, but towards the ending when ML has already proven to be intelligent and trustworthy, her not softening was a no-no. She could have taken his help with the Yan case, which is his job ,and not locked him up. It became like a dominant FL while ML keeps trying to make the relationship work. Lack of character growth towards the end as far as the relationship aspect is concerned
I am also feeling that now...all cases have underlying theme of women abuse and their struggles in a patriarchal society

From women empowerment it went into toxic masculinity which is as harmful as submissive women...
