I’m 8 eps in and I can’t keep watching. I love the message they r trying to portray, but the story and how…
I'm 7 episodes in and my opinion is similar to yours. All the characters but the ML are very dislikeable and annoying, and the series feels very cringey in too many moments.
I really liked him in The Haunted Palace. I thought he was a scene stealer there. And he has been very good playing Albert in Undercover Miss Hong. I'll miss him and the series this weekend.
I haven't watched this drama yet but from the reviews here it seems like a must-watch good drama as mostly ppl…
Probably the plot doesn't seem interesting or light enough to some people. To each their own, but this drama's script is better than the ones from many other popular shows.
It's never boring, imo. Great actings, good cinematography, many funny moments and no romance so far (but there…
I'd say romance genre is when a drama is mainly centered on romance and two people fall in love or are in love at some point in the story (usually there are happy endings, but not always). In this series we had many moments of one sided love. I was totally shipping Miss Hong and Albert but I guessed the romance wouldn't be developed (I hoped a tiny hint of a future relationship, but the screenwriter had other plans). Anyway, this has been a great drama. I have enjoyed it a lot.
I wonder how'd they make them end up together. They don't even have anything romantic about them. I don't know…
I noticed it. In fact, his "crush" on her doesn't bother her at all. I think she's flattered that he's in love with her. She finds it amusing, and sometimes it shows. Perhaps she hasn't stopped him in his tracks because deep down she wants him to continue feeling that way.
In this episode she hid her smile by looking at Albert more than once, or so it seemed to me 😂
Yes, she smiled openly at Shin, like "partners in crime", but I got the impression there were also small smiles directed at Albert. I think she finds him at least amusing.
nvm I just listened to all released OSTs. Out of six, three are romance songs, which is an awful lot for a show…
But the writer had the show written before knowing about what most of the audience are shipping and the writer didn't know what would be the audience's reaction to Shin's character. This is not a drama that can be modified on the run, like the weekenders :(
Nora is supposedly engaged to Shin, goes on dates with him, and is starting to like Shin and now KNOWS that FL…
A few episodes back, Albert also said something like, "I wish it were something inappropriate," referring to his secret meetings with Jang Mi. I definitely don't see him as a kid. And in today's episode, when Bok Hee mentioned that Albert clearly likes Keum Bo, but that there's a big age difference between them, Keum Bo made a gesture that I don't know how to interpret, but I think she doesn't attach much importance to the age difference.
Maybe we should say there is love, but not romance.
Albert deserves to be happy and I would be more than happy if at least he got a second date at the end of the series.
