There's some comedy, but not much. It's more of a story about interpersonal relationships between small-town people and city people, with elements of suspense, drama, and a touch of romance.

Doh Kyung Soo was very good in other series I saw him in, but I agree with you: in 100 Days my Prince he is too stiff. I couldn't connect with his acting here.

I highly recommend Ever Night. In fact it's my favorite c-drama. But it has lots of fantasy elements, while Zhan Zhao Adventures has minimal fantasy.

It's a classic for good reasons :) Even Seo Ri mentioned it in one episode.
