I didn't notice so many inaccuracies. Perhaps some of the stylings seemed more 80s than 90s to me, but I can't be entirely sure because I didn't live through that era in China 😅 As for the technology, I don't know. The phones and beepers seemed to belong to the time.

I'm glad you liked it! I also enjoyed this more than LBL. Very different kind of show, anyways. But I felt more things with My Page in the 90s.

He knew her because she had already been inside the book where he came from. But she went back to real life some days before that date (of the first episode). In the first episode she has not been inside the book yet. At least I understand it like that.

I actually finished the show, but I never really connected with the main couple. Maybe that's why I found their romance too cheesy.

I also found it quite boring from the sixth episode. But that was my problem because I didn't connect with the main characters. People who got very invested really enjoyed it until the end.

I really loved Chen Xing Xu in this show. More than other series I have watched him in. Maybe this character was the most similar to his real personality.

He is a normal person who lived in his own world, I guess.

It seems after she disappeared he had his own mission to get out of the book and go to the real world, but it is not shown.

The episodes are quite fast paced, but the romance takes its time. But it is very funny along the way.

I think the person we saw in episode 1 was already him, having returned for her (after everything they'd been through together), but she hadn't yet entered the book at that point, which is why she didn't know him. Then she returns to her real world a few days earlier than that moment in Episode 1, so he's still not there. These time paradoxes always mess with my head a bit 😅.

Watching two series at the same time with the same main character can be a bit confusing 😂 Regarding your question, he makes models for other people, but they aren't relevant to the plot.

The second couple lacked interest, imo. The main couple outshone them completely. In fact this drama didn't need a second couple.
