I think the person we saw in episode 1 was already him, having returned for her (after everything they'd been through together), but she hadn't yet entered the book at that point, which is why she didn't know him. Then she returns to her real world a few days earlier than that moment in Episode 1, so he's still not there. These time paradoxes always mess with my head a bit 😅.

Watching two series at the same time with the same main character can be a bit confusing 😂 Regarding your question, he makes models for other people, but they aren't relevant to the plot.

The second couple lacked interest, imo. The main couple outshone them completely. In fact this drama didn't need a second couple.

The romance is very good.

Their chemistry was excellent. Loved this couple.

The game was a bait for me, so I also felt disappointed. In the end, the VR game was only filler content.

The storyline has nothing to offer, so if you are not really invested with the main couple's romance, the series can get quite boring, soap-operish, and cheesy.

Surprisingly, it's quite good. I liked the actors, especially the ML, and none of them are dubbed (or so it seemed to me). You can watch it in one sitting as a very long movie, and it's never boring.

That scene was cringey tbh, but I have watched up to episode 16 and the series is good, and the comedy works really well. No more cringey moments, at least imo :)

Wang Yu Wen is fantastic in this series (the first one I've seen of hers), and the genuine romantic moments (the ones that aren't parodies) make my heart flutter, which isn't something that happens to me easily. I suppose in this case, I really like both main characters and the way they are building their relationship. The ML is adorable!

I do that too, I watch entire series without skipping any scenes 😅 We're such completionists. And if I felt the urge to skip a lot of scenes in a series, I definitely couldn't give it more than a 6.

Trying to compare the two series doesn't make much sense, because LBL is a romantic drama with a touch of thriller and soap opera, while this one is a parody of rom-coms using a fantasy element (isekai). As I said the other day, it's like comparing Prisoner of Beauty to A Dream Within a Dream (and personally, I think ADWAD is a better series with a much smarter script. Prisoner of Beauty is an average costume drama).
I'm enjoying My page on 90s much more than LBL and I love this couple more, but the series as a whole are totally different.

I don't know what to tell you, because I haven't seen Untamed yet, but given that it's such a long series, if you watched more than 20 episodes the first time you tried and found it difficult, maybe it's best to stop.

Another option is to continue watching it, but not from the beginning; pick up a little further along than when you first stopped. Since you already know the story, you'll be able to follow the plot well, and maybe at some point the series will become more entertaining. 🤔
