Your comment sounds so relatable to me! I have the same problem as you with dropping shows. I'm learning, though.
I totally understand your point. This year I've resolved to drop more series, but it's a decision I have to make when I've only watched a few episodes, because once I get past a certain number I think, "Well, I'm here now, I'll finish it." So far this year I've dropped the Chinese series Glory after five episodes. I didn't want to watch any more and then not be able to drop it 😅
guys- spoilers please!!!when do the main couple get together?is there any misunderstanding/breakup? if so how…
1. They get together around the episode 47. 2. There is a break up of the second couple, even though they still loved each other. Family issues. It lasts several episodes. 3. The ending is half happy half sad. Last minute happy ending.
my page in the 90’s! it’s moreso of a rom com so it’s a bit different but ive heard a lot of good things…
I wouldn't say 7.9 is bad. But I think it should be higher. The series, in the parody/rom-com/isekai genre, is actually good. It's working better for me than LBL.
I have waited 50 eps to see if Yeong Ra and Jiwan will end ep together.... now im disappointed
I felt the same way. The ending is very disappointing because they suddenly lost contact, and when they reunite, they treat each other coldly. What a bad ending for what was my favorite couple.
I just found out this; "Chen Xing Xu is only 29; he is, in fact, a seasoned actor with 25 years of experience."…
I'm watching My page in the 90s. Six episodes so far. I like that series more than LBL but the concepts are totally different. My page in the 90s makes fun of the tropes that LBL is full of 😅
Would not recommend to long time drama watchers...It's pretty generic.
I don't think it's generic at all. The fact this is a parody changes everything. The cliches are here but the parody factor make them funnier. But some people could think "they are making fun of my favorite dramas!" and don't like it. Like A dream within a dream (which I loved).
Hi can someone explain the low rating score. I came over here from Love between lines so i was hoping for something…
This is a parody of rom-coms so far (I have watched six episodes). So all the tropes are here, but it's very funny because they are making fun of the tropes. I like this kind of series because they express my feelings about some things that annoy me in other dramas. It's totally different from LBL (that series had the tropes but taking them seriously).
I observed that comedy driven romance tends to fetch low ratings, really unsure why. This is really a fun watch…
Not so many people appreciates good comedies. Imo A dream within a dream has a much better script than Prisoner of Beauty, but their ratings are 8.4 and 8.9 here 🤷🏻♀️
I'll start this once the LBL high die down a bit. I tried "Can This Love Be Translated", but I couldn’t…
It's good. I would give it a high rating but I always rate once I have finished a series. Probably some poeple who dropped it are rating it low. But the series is good.
I largely prefer MOA, though (even with that end 🫣).
I found it very entertaining, and it had some very well-done suspenseful scenes. Hyun Bin gave what I consider his best performance. I didn't watch it when it aired; I binged it a few years later and enjoyed it, although the ending did leave me somewhat disappointed.
My favorite aspect of this drama is that the ML and FL really become friends in the early stages. They actually…
It's funny, I never felt like they became friends. It seemed to me that they fell in love very quickly, but due to circumstances, they didn't confess their feelings right away. I definitely wouldn't call this a "friends to lovers" story, like in series such as the Korean drama My Unfamiliar Family or the recent Chinese series Why Is He Still Single? (highly recommend both).
