Most of this drama is boring propaganda. There is no reason for naming the drama mirror twins they're not symbolic of anything and the main character is a cop who is stubborn and set in his ways so you expect him to have a change of heart but nothing of the sort ever happened and that mild reaction toward the end was so unnatural. So what's the point of this story? And the characters are all very bland and feel like the same person saying similar things with different actors. I didn't feel anything at all for anyone, save maybe the criminal twin at a few points. Shame because it started out well and definitely had potential. Im just glad I'm done because I don't like dropping dramas. Btw this is my review for both seasons. Was this review helpful to you?

4. Pervy kinky male lead
5. Sakurada DORI.
6. Sakurada DORI
7. Sakurada DORI
And did I mention SAKURADA FREAKING DORI
XD
If that's not enough of a reason, well okay I know most people can't stand the idea of insta love so what can I say, MORE DORI FOR ME YOU LOSERS!!!!
XD
So now that that's out of the way I just thought this drama was well made, full of eye candy and the couple had chemistry and it's not the most brilliant writing but it's not bad writing either. This is very much guilty pleasure wish fulfillment at its finest!!!

Loved it! Engaging, entertaining, meaningful. It's about how humans are so quick at jugding others but are bizarrely unaware about the evil inside them. I know Japan has a lot of game style, voting system movies and drama but I still find something new every day, that really says something about the talented creators. And Seto was so believable! Loved every second he was in, and the story is full of twists and the ending was just sheer brilliance. And the way it was shot was really clever. Completely had me hooked! Convoluted and unconventional definitely gruesome and doesn't pull any punches. It's kind of stylistically gives a post-apocalyptic feel like 1984 and Battle Royale, it's going to depress you. I loved the usual eccentricity of Japanese fiction and there's a touch of dark humor as well. Basically, Zera wants to create a society where there are no adults and he has help from a demonic entity who warns him against an uprising and certain death from 'adults' and 'traitors.' And this fear drives him to be ruthless toward everyone and creating a society aka Lychee Light Club to control other young boys. These boys are not allowed to fornicate, or do anything that goes against Zera's orders. All so they are forced to become Zera's minions, including a gigantic machine named Lychee that is programmed to be human and find girls and be Zera's killing machine. But when one of the boys starts raising his voice against Zera's insane level of cruelty, he starts finding other boys who share his distaste of Zera and his rules. At the heart this film shows how evil people try to control others by instilling fears and taking away their basic human rights like being able to find pleasure, in sex and otherwise. How they're propelled by their own fears and end up becoming heartless. And the other recurring motif is of beauty and ugliness, and how no matter how beautiful someone might be, they will eventually get tarnished if nothing the people who were so taken by their beauty alone will see them as ugly when they find something better. That's the superficial nature of beauty worship. Was this review helpful to you?
