I LOVE EM I LOVE EM I LOVE EM :')
I LOVE when not only does a Thai BL hit the spot with me but makes me bingewatch couple vids on YouTube for the rest of the night and for the most part of the next day XDDo i have BrightWin wallpapers on all my devices replacing the Pete Kao ones ive had FOREVER hell to the yes!
Have I been screaming every time Bright is being unbearably soft for Win and his beautiful ass smile in a youtube ship vid f yes!
look. Sometimes i have an inkling about why i like what I like but other times my brain is all like ... cute boys kissing being soft ME LIKEY LOL
But one thing I will say 2gether isn't perfect and might be a tad weak story wise, i t has some genuine writing, genuine hilarity, and the bonding between the male leads feels organic and there's a kind of natural innocence and relatability to both characters.
SO YES. give me more.

Buuut not going to lie the male leads freaking gorgeous and it did provide me all that good lakorn angst lol even though my angst came from a different place than other viewers who couldn't find anything wrong with the self righteous father and female lead.
Anyway, seriously the only person who genuinely cared for the male lead was the other girl who I knew was fated to lose because all the self serving self righteous people hated her too.
Again, comparing with the H in Hua Jai Sila, COME ON - like these two females have NOTHING in common! The HJS female lead was genuinely caring and wasn't at all a total bitch, didn't get all judgy and preachy. This one on the other was nothing more than a shallow bitch .
Anyway, not a total waste of time but it could've been so much better.

This is all meaningless conservative propaganda. If you're different then you're the villain lol seriously the only people with any integrity were Win and Sprite and they were both not shown in a positive light. Tor's character had integrity too in the beginning when he was with Sprite but then he becomes .. wait for it... A LITERAL MONK and joined the rest of the self-righteous clan. Serious WTF storyline. And the BL story like most characters in the show they act on a whim, you don't feel them actually bonding mostly because of the lack of a good script and shoddy direction. So I couldn't care about any of the relationships because there was no chemistry, nothing. No on screen bonding especially for the BL story. It's like the creators saw SKINS (my favorite show btw idc what you think) and wanted to make it edgy and dark but they don't really understand anything because this is clearly the work of an immature mind. And okay I always say this, I 've always had a problem with SOTUS 'bullying is good for you' bs but I still don't rate it low because the couples got chemistry and the couple's parts are done so well and the script and direction is good otherwise. Because yes Hormones could have become SOTUS but the COUPLES WERE ALL SO BORING. I had to keep myself from falling asleep lol at least Win Sprite and Tor in the beginning were interesting characters, the other characters TOTAL SNOOZE FEST. And i know Hormones gets compared with Gloomy Salad Days so I'm going to tell you what I think. GSD is nuanced, and has heart. Hormones isn't even guilty pleasure ecxept for a few scenes. GSD might look low budget but it feels like a cult classic whereas Hormones is just shallow and unremarkable. Okay there you have it. Sorry to everyone who liked it, I know im being harsh. So, it was good for the most part and I was into the couples especially Win Team and Korn Inn, mostly because I felt like the Dean Pharm storyline was a bit lacking. I felt like there was no proper build up for Pharm going crazy in the end, there were maybe two scenes that showed him properly getting freaked out but again there was no build up so the going crazy bit seemed rushed and just abrupt and I couldn't get into it. And then of course, there was SO MUCH ANNOYING PRODUCT PLACEMENT and other problematic stuff like fat shaming to an annoying level , etc. So it felt a bit immature overall. Even the ending conflict between Dean Pharm felt forced. And so much time they invested in the last episode to give a romantic interest to even poor Manaow who was basically their shaming vehicle until then and then omg God gave the fat girl a hot guy RIGHT TOWARD THE END because only super good looking and thin people deserve a complex and entertaining storyline, right? XD ugh okay. But I mean so much time and Win Team didn't even get proper conversation or skin ship ffs in the last episode. So, there you go. Not bad but could have been better and I STILL NEED THAT WINTEAM SERIES Was this review helpful to you?

I just want to prefix this by saying Shuhei is beautiful and the only reason I sat through this. So, here's the thing. Started out as a nice dark humor and the kind of bromance that is way more than brotherhood, honestly it seemed like just my kind of thing especially because one of the guys was a yakuza who runs over Shuhei and they end up developing a friendship. It was adorable and so was Shuhei's character. And honestly when he says he's into the female driving instructor I was even on board with that. Because it felt like he was still trying to discover himself and when he realized he was immature and petty about her having a kid he will work on himself, that's his arc, like I said, it had that potential. And then Shuhei was having this bonding with the yakuza guy who was also with him in school, and the yakuza guy hates his job and wants to run away.
And Shuhei is rather obvious about not having any feelings for his actual gf and he breaks up with her and he comes from an abusive household and runs away to be with yakuza guy. And then there was a scene with the yakuza guy, where they show his real fantasy is to blow up the yakuza bosses and be with Shuhei's character.
So you think okay so what happens now! Like what deep, thoughtful message will they leave us with?
You know what 'message' they left us with?
You can love a man or a great nice girl who is divorced and has a kid, but when summer ends go back to your abusive parents and settle in with the younger virgin girl that you have no feelings for and who knows that you're using her but lets you do it because MADE UP RIDICULOUS SOCIETAL CONSTRAINTS THATS WHY. How progressive. How thoughtful. Freaking genius sir! Where's that standing ovation ffs lol ugh
I'm going to need something REALLY GOOD to get rid of the bad taste

So, I think to fully enjoy these characters, you need to watch the spin offs especially the Chase one, if nothing else. As for Drive and it's characters, here's what I think.
Drive had some fantastic characters and ideas especially the writing was strong and the antagonists were so well fleshed out when they become anti heroes or just victims of the main antagonists manipulative ways, everyone from Heart, to Brain, to Medic, I felt for them all. But while still a great show, I felt it lacking in some regions - first off Chase. Let's face it Chase was supposed to be the guy everyone was supposed to root for, through his interaction with Kamen Riders and the team sure, but the set up was for Gou right? So, their relationship shouldn't have felt so lacking.
What I mean is, we only see them interacting as Kamen Riders, and barely at all in actual life. I know that Gou was shown as being tsundere and supposed to be stoic but they could still have had actual meaningful conversations like they did those two or three times. Because of this their bromance felt incomplete. When the relationship between Heart and Brain, Heart and Shin Heart Chase was done so well. Even Shin and Gou was better than Gou and Chase. And the thing is its not like there was a lot going on plot wise in the beginning and Chase was introduced pretty early anyway.
The other minor gripe is the beginning part not being as interesting as the second part. Basically this was the time they could have used to develop Chase and Gou and both these problems could have been solved easily.
And okay I love Ryoma he's really done a good job but characters wise I just LOVE Heart Chase, and Gou!!!
But the thing about Drive and the reason I'm rating it high, despite those issues is because much like Build and W, Drive characters are the type that wont leave you alone. You keep wanting to go back. So this one and the spin offs have great re watch value for me.

Honestly one of my least favorite seasons. The character of Ankh is completely without substance and no clear motives. He's so random, and there was nothing that made me feel a connection between him and Eiji. Seriously even most secondary bromances have more substance and depth in Drive, and Build than W, than these two. And let's talk about the 'heroes' okay let me tell you it's not a good sign if when the 'heroes' team does something to bring down the 'bad guys' and you feel bad for the bad guys and absolutely nothing for the good guys team. Because there were some good friendships between the characters but even then someone would leave, or just weren't convincing enough and every relationship felt tepid.
I mean Eiji is definitely a character you can root for, but they set up this story to be some kind of Sam Winchester Dean Winchester showdown where Sam is possessed by Lucifer but to make the viewer care for such a showdown means both your characters need to make the kind of impact that would make me give a damn. Instead, we get Ankh, a barely developed, 'antihero' who never actually gives the impression that he gives a damn about Eiji so why in the world would I care about any of this! And in general, their interactions were pretty bland and generic for the most part.
So when Ankh goes and gets partially resurrected i felt nothing because they hadn't actually given me anything to take away. It's not like either of them was particularly caring about the other and even Eiji seemed less concerned for Ankh and more for the body he possessed ffs how the hell was I supposed to care. Literally only cared for the villains because at least they cared about each other, their love was more believable. And sure toward the end, by which i mean ep 45, I was emotional when they were both sacrificing but it didn't make up for the pointlessness that came before.

Aahhh I knew when I was sooooooo happy they were going to make me cry! lol but that's Kamen Rider for you. It's a W Accel cross over too well more like a cameo. Never thought I'd hear the words 'Roimude Dopant' lol
In this story you'll see Chase struggling with his 'mannequin' look and watch Brain pining relentlessly for Heart, so usual Brain lol but waaay more hilarious XD
This is basically the story of how Chase became a real boy :') and seriously Krim was so mean to say that stuff to him! But yes, expect a lot of happiness, a lot of heartbreak and it's all done so perfectly I have no problems at all, it's just that good.

- MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD - The plot of Kamen Rider Build according to my brain - alien being goes around impregnating everyone from Banjo's mom to Rogue's cyborg ex Utsumi until alien forces Rogue's other ex aka Sento/Katsuragi and his new bf Banjo to open a wormhole and collapse two realities, so the one where the alien being impregnated Rogue's THIRD EX aka Stalk aka Faustian Devil(I know man Rogue gets around for sure lol), that reality doesn't exist anymore. Another reason why BUILD is so awesome ? Banjo and Sento END UP TOGETHER OKAY. One of my top fave Kamen Rider series for sure XD but seriously I'm just leaving reviews for KR series so just thought I'd post a funny one and if I haven't scarred you for life lol have a good one ;)oh and if you like convoluted stuff and got a lady boner or just a boner for anti heroes I highly suggest the spin off ROGUE. And okay I know I haven't talked about Grease Kazumi much because his character is actually the least convoluted lol but I feel like his on again off again relationships with both Rogue and Banjo just made me scream like give this man a full time lover lol he deserves it ffs and no that last minute you're dying so I'll back hug you from Misora just wasn't good enough because that man deserved the world okay. He lost his brothers who were his only family and they died in his arms when neither of them had done anything wrong. They were all just victims of Faust's experiments and the second Grease received even the tiniest bit of love from Misora, Sento and especially Banjo, he was willing to die for them. He was such a beautiful person he never even judged Rogue and even understood how Utsumi who had to become a cyborg, felt when Rogue shot him after things started unraveling in Faust and you can tell Rogue is messed up over it too. When he says 'I broke Utsumi' you can feel his pain. He wanted to turn back time, fix his mistakes, but he knew it doesn't work that way that he's lost Utsumi forever. That's why he goes on that suicide mission with Grease. Haha so that concludes it. Be prepared for a ton of angst and sadness and eccentric humor all in one.
